We had a great week in this property which is full of character (and surprisingly warm!). It was about 20 minutes in the car to many days out/Lakeland walks and a very easy drive into Penrith with its many shops, so everything you could need is nearby. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful and we would definitely recommend a stay here!
Very lovely garden and cottage. The owner was extremely helpful with things to do in the area. The added touches like milk and wine in thw fridge on our arrival made us feel very welcome.
