Modern & Cosy Home with Hot-Tub, 5min drive to Beach, ideal for large families.

Menavaur is a modern and cosy home on a quiet residential road just outside the pretty village of Goldsithney. It is 5mins drive to Perranuthnoe Beach, 7mins to Marazion,10mins to Penzance town and 20 minutes to the north coast including St Ives & Carbis Bay. Goldsithney has a convenience store, post office and 2 pubs.

Our lovely converted bungalow has an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room area with Wood-burner and patio doors to the garden. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, hob, oven, combi microwave/oven and coffee machine. Use of 59" TV & Wifi is included.

The dining room seats 8.
The kitchen bar seats 3.

Spiral staircase leading to the Master Bedroom with Super-King bed open plan to snug/study and dressing room & plus an en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath & waterfall shower.

Downstairs, from the front door, there is a hallway with large storage cupboards, step-up to a utility room with fridge-freezer and washing machine leading to a bathroom with electric shower, 2 King-sized bedrooms and 1 single bedroom and further access to the garden.

Outside:
* 5 seat hot tub containing 2 loungers/3 seats, WiFi & Bluetooth music connectivity and coloured lights.
* Deck area with seating/dining
* Gas BBQ
* 2 Sun-loungers
* ‘The Staying Inn’ outside bar!

Also in the garden there is a separate self-contained Annex with King size bed, sofa, shower-room & small kitchenette with microwave, sink, kettle & toaster, coffee machine, bar-stool seating & outside seating area, private garden with access to the main garden.

The drive-way has parking for 2 cars.
Use of the garage and a further downstairs bedroom is not included.

All linen & towels provided.

Family holiday

This property was beautiful and clean the open planned living space for 8 of us was perfect. It was the perfect base to explore the area. The hosts were on hand when we needed a little help, Debi popped the first evening just to show us a couple of things - nothing was a problem.

Absolutely 5 star!

We had a brilliant stay at Debi’s property. The house is just beautiful and has a real wow factor when you walk in. The space we had was perfect for our family trip (5 adults, 3 children and the dog!) and the use of the annex was a godsend for my parents to have some peace and quiet from the children! The house was spotless and everything as described on the listing. Debi had left us the most generous welcome package with lots of Cornish goodies which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The neighbourhood is peaceful and is perfectly positioned to explore all parts of Cornwall. From booking to end of stay, Debi was on hand to offer us recommendations, a tour of the house when we arrived and left us to enjoy the house for our stay. Thank you so much Debi for letting us enjoy your beautiful house!

A stunning property located in an idyllic village

Property; The property is truly stunning and has everything that you could possibly need/ want to have a fabulous holiday. Set in an idyllic and friendly village, with easy access to all major road links the property will remain a favourite, to return to. Perfect Family Holiday

We have just had the most fantastic week. From start to finish it’s been so easy and the owners were on hand to answer any questions we had. The house was fantastic for our large party and there was plenty of space. The annexe was brilliant for our parents to have some space and the main living area and garden was well equipped with everything we needed. Fabulous property and location

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house is very well located for access to local beaches, the village pub(s) and the amenities of Penzance. On arrival we found the host had very kindly left a welcome pack of local treats including scones and beers! What a great way to start! It was spotlessly clean and had ample room for our party of 6 adults and 2 children. The garden, again, was immaculate and a very pleasant place to enjoy the evening sun and a BBQ! Thoroughly recommend staying here :)

Great location, lovely property.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the house was great and met all our needs. It's location and area were just right with loads of beaches (Praa Sands was our favourite local one), St Ives and Carbis Bay, Kylance Cove and many local attractions and scenic spots, all ranging from 5 mins to 30 mins away. Lovely Comfy Stay!

We really enjoyed staying in Menavaur, the accommodation was very spacious, even for family of eight. The children enjoyed playing the garden and the couple staying in the Annex found it very comfortable as well. (maybe it be nice with a tv?) I loved using the big open kitchen too cook our daily meals, while others sat around the island for chats:) It was easy access and within short drive to all the surrounding beaches, the nearest beach was Perranuthnoe Beach, which was beautiful when the tides are out. Debi was a wonderful host and respond to questions or help efficently. We would love to stay there again!

Just perfect

Absolutely everything about our holiday experience at this property was amazing, from booking the property to checking out. The owner is incredibly helpful and responds very quickly to any questions you may have. The house is well, just gorgeous. Spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed, a real home from home. It’s location is really great for exploring south and west Cornwall and also within easy reach of Eden and Tintagel. If you’re after walking distance to a pub the house has two great pubs within 10 minute walk. Would we return? Absolutely!! And would we recommend? Absolutely!! Book
 you definitely won’t be disappointed.

A delightful getaway to Penzance!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Menavaur. The house and annex were spotless and very spacious. We appreciated the small gestures provided including the home baked scones, shortbread and other goodies! Certainly a 5 star stay! The host was very prompt and helpful in answering all questions before and during the visit and provided recommendations too! The house manual was well put together and had great recommendations for the area. They provide essential household items, so you don’t need to bring anything except kitchen ingredients. Annex: Lovely private annex if guests want privacy. It also has a private garden too. Main downstairs area: We really liked the open plan area downstairs and it was a great communal space for all of us, who have come together after over a year apart. Many thoughtful items in the living room like the fantastic Apple speaker and board games. Large TV for movie nights and two seating areas - breakfast island and large dining area for more larger dinners, which we really enjoyed. We enjoyed the main garden, but because of the rain we couldn’t use the facilities as much as we would have liked to. There is a cute bar area, outdoor seating and a large lawn. Bedrooms: All are an excellent size, clean and comfortable. Great walk in wardrobe in the Master bedroom! Main concern is that it is very noisy for the person staying in the master bedroom as the noise travels from the living area. Luckily we all went to bed and woke up at the same time, so wasn’t too much of a nuisance, but could be bothersome if not. Downstairs bathroom: Water leaks from the screen in the downstairs bathroom and the shower head runs quite slowly so we all ended up using the upstairs bathroom only. Location: Superb location. Quiet area and walking distance from many beautiful spots and we particularly enjoyed Kenneggy cove. It is driving distance from all tourist locations in Cornwall, and that was valuable.
