Poor communication

Not acceptable /poor communication, we texted several times the guest host, called her twice, email her 4 times and she NEVER NEVER NEVER return our call or had the courtesy to reply. How can you do business like that? the place was ok but response from guest host not acceptable. We never got an answer to my inquiry/question. I worked all my life and I had to return calls and emails in 24 hours as courtesy to the clients. Bill and Carmen

Poor Communication

We had a couple of minor issues while staying at this property. There was ZERO communication from the owner when I tried to reach them for help. I even followed up after we returned home. Again, ZERO communication. You might be on your own if you have issues while staying at this property.

Wasn’t clean.

I have emailed the owners twice with a list of several things about the property that were disturbing to us. Especially for the price of this property. The property was not clean at all. There was cobwebs all over, the shower had mold in it. There was pills on the bedroom floor. There was no garbage bags in the garbages and none in the house at all. The picnic table in the back yard was used by anyone in the neighborhood. The lock on the main entrance hardly worked. And some light fixtures were missing bulbs!

DONT STAY HERE!!!!We DIDN'T Stay HERE! The house was not cleaned!!

We did not stay in the house because it was not cleaned. There was dish water in the sink, bedding on the floor, sheets in the washer, spider webs, dirty door handles, sticky floors. We asked for a refund but it took is about 2.5 HOURS on the phone, most of which was ON HOLD with VRBO Customer Service. I think the representative put us on hold and had a cup of coffee and talked to others to delay service. We checked in at 3:04 PM on check-in date and this was not fully resolved until about 7:00 PM. First they asked if we would finish cleaning the house. Then they told us at about 5:30 PM to return to the house because the housekeeper was returned or returning to clean it. I asked to clarify. Was the house clean or was it going to be cleaned. I was put on HOLD again for about 30 minutes. Then told the property manager was available to talk to us but put on hold for another 20 minutes. Extremely POOR service from VRBO and the owners. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOUSE!!!!

The cabin was everything we needed for the weekend. Nicely stocked with useful things and great for morning coffee on the deck or watching TV on a rainy afternoon. Will consider renting again.

Was a little misleading. Couldn’t use the garage. It was full of clutter. Floors needed swept when we arrived and thought they needed repainted or updated. Overall it was nice, quiet and well kept. We enjoyed our stay.

Pepin weekend

The house was cute. The outdoor patio was really nice. The shower was clean. We loved some of the unique features/finishes of the home. What we didn’t love was the harness of the mattress and living room furniture, the expired toothpaste that was provided (2021), the dirty extra blankets, and the unwashed wine glasses that were put back on the shelf. The house was fine for what we needed, but we probably would not stay here again.

Spring break with son

My son and I traveled to Pepin to fish for a couple of days over Spring break. This property drew my attention because of it's cabin rusty look. It's a nice little property in a quite neighborhood. We did not find the garage useful. Be sure to remember your toiletries and any extra amenities you may want.

Cute little home to stay in. Was not able to park in the garage as it was full. Also tried to contact property manager via email, phone call and text message prior to our stay. Did not receive a reply until the morning after we checked out.

Great location

Property was a great location for our activities. Would suggest whoever does the cleaning of this rental pay better attention, especially the bathroom. Areas missed with toilet, cobwebs and spider webs in shower and window sill in bathroom. There were blankets folded inside the ottoman in livingroom that were dirty. Overall a good experience.

Quiet neighbourhood. Big covered deck with ceiling fan was awesome. Furniture was basic but comfortable. Second bedroom was small and dark- OK for kids perhaps not for adults. Loved the shower.

The cottage was clean & fairly spacious. with the exception of very dusty window blinds and some cobwebs in the corners ,it was comfortable. It would be nice to have screen doors off back and front doors. The dilapidated garage off covered deck is very unattractive to look at but it is quiet and and easy walking distance to waterfront & restaurants. Pepin is a lovely river has a lot going for it. Would stay here again.
