If you are looking for a secluded stay this is it! It is just as listed, rustic, historic, quaint and quiet. It was a great place for my cousins and I to have a get together. The owner was very attentive and came right away when we had a problem with the fireplace and hot tub. If you are looking for a five star resort this is not for you. If you are looking to relax in the country it will not disappoint.

The cabin was great! Had a long Dad/Daughter weekend, it was a perfect place to relax, unwind and spend time together. For me the rustic feel felt very much like home. Communication with the host was great. I would love to go back.

We were celebrating a 50th birthday and a ladies reunion with life long friends. The location was perfect! Cell service and internet are spotty which made for a perfect unplugged get away. I wish the hot tub had been a little more secure to get in and out of...but at our ages we are extra careful lol Hoping to make this an annual trip! Just watch out for the walnuts!!! Lol

This property and secluded location is exactly what we were looking for in our getaway. It felt as if we were in the middle of nowhere however, we were still only about 15 minutes from the heart of downtown Perryville, where there are multiple restaurants, stores and other attractions. The hot tub was a nice touch to this property and the weather was a little bit cool outside, so it was perfect for the late evening setting. If we are in the area, we will definitely try to stay at this property in the future. It was exactly what we needed to get away from the day to day busyness and could actually relax and take a breath. After this visit, we both felt refreshed and rejuvenated. It was also really nice for us to spend some quality time together.

i stayed at the cabin for a week, and enjoyed the peace and quiet of being in the middle of nowhere. i took long walks with my dog, lounged in the hot tub (very nice), gathered eggs from the chickens, learned the history of the cabin, and got together with friends living close by. it's not too far away from perryville, so i made a few trips to town.

Hidden Gem!

Perfect get away. This place is about as authentic as it gets. The photos are great, but the true rustic feel can only really be grasped in person. The host is very accommodating and has put a lot of thought into his hospitality. There are chickens that supply eggs. We received honey and bread. It is quiet and so relaxing. We already want to go back.
