This home has direct access to the water, with a sandy beach and horseshoe pit. The stairs down to the river have a gated enclosure for small children. You'll have seclusion at home while Leavenworth's Bavarian festivals and varying cuisine are only 10 miles to the north, along with riverside hiking at Waterfront Park. Drive south instead, and enjoy more rigorous trails via the Ingalls Boulder Field Trailhead.

First and for most the house is so outdated. The master bedroom upstairs is the most outdated. There were dirty socks under the futon, the bathroom had dirt on the floor and the tub looked like paint had spilled all over it. The kitchen faucet was broken, no paper towels, no complementary coffee. The garbage can needed some wd40 on it. The bedroom next to the bathroom the beds squeezed every time you moved. The house offered a wood burning stove but does not provide any wood to keep warm. The bedroom downstairs in the basement had mouse droppings in it. Needless to say the snow was beautiful but this place was terrible.

Magnificent setting!

The cabin sits on a stream that babbles and runs in back of the place. What sweet white noise. The pines and other trees whisper on the breeze. The cabin was huge and could have had more people staying but the place was limited to 6 people. Stairs everywhere and the enterance was through the garage. A very dated and in need of an update

Great NYE getaway!

We loved the location and proximity to Leavworth and the woodsy winter wonderland by the creek. There is plenty of space to spread out and ample beds for our very large family. Check in was a breeze. The interior is cozy and clean but nothing super modern. The only minor consideration not worthy of 5 stars was the state of the master tub which had paint peeling and door was off the hinge. All-in-all, we were happy with our retreat and would recommend it to others.

Loved it went for my birthday with my family it was the best birthday 🎂 having my family with me and the house was beautiful and levemsworth was right down the road so we spent Saturday there it was wonderful!! Would give it a 10/10

what a gem!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods. So happy it is dog friendly! The sights and sounds of the creek were so peaceful. The property is in great shape and we wanted for nothing. Plenty of towels, trash bags, toiletries, dishes, etc. I've stayed at a lot of places where I end up buying something that isn't available at the house. Not at this property, however. My family had a great time exploring the huge DVD collection. We are all over the age of 40 and like comfortable spaces. Comfortable seating for 6 in the dining room, living room and tv room. We were lucky to have missed a heat wave by one week. We all hope to stay here again!

Beautiful home with a picturesque view of the Peshastin Creek. My only gripe is that the home had no A/C so during the afternoons it was over 80 degrees in the house. Other than that, we would love to return

Don't do it

This property was filthy. The floors were disgusting, hair everywhere. Smelled of urine. Dirty dishes in cupboard. Shelving freezer dirty stuff in ice cubs,Several broken things: shower door upstairs, wants to fall off, broken closet doors, kitchen sink faucet, ceiling fan, duct tape on cupboard under kitchen sink to keep the door closed, splattered food on wall behind trash can and still in and on trash can,windows missing screens, doors not locking,( mind you when it's 100 degrees you need a window open at night but the bugs then come in). Stairs to creek are a liability, being held up with rocks, yes I SAID ROCKS. Signage need replaced. Sign in road needs to be better in order to find this vacation rental signage is hard to see. All decks filthy, outdoor chairs filthy. Needs bee traps, can't sit outside without being swarmed.This place could be a stunner with some love. What a disappointment. Have pics was hoping to put them on but won't let me. Property manager was fast to respond and super nice when asked questions, it did say they would like for us to let them help us out and that somebody would be contacting us but nobody ever did. Guys, I'm going home and taking a shower!

Really great stay

Such a wonderful trip over Fourth of July! Nice to get dogs to a place where they feel safe from fireworks. The intention is to come back if the elders 55 to 65 want to climb up and down stairs to river. Beautiful river setting. Nice house . Well maintained. Outside has deferred maintenance. The second set of steps to river need maintenance, coy pond outside kitchen need to be removed or maintained as it draws so many bugs. Nobody seems to be caring for yard and decks. That’s tragic. Wonderful house. Wonderful stay for my family and dogs. Hot weather. If you have a portable ac bring it because it gets kinda miserable hot but cools over night nicely

Amazing family get away

Wonderful property! My kids want to come back again and again. Reading reviews, I pictured a "rougher" cabin experience, but it was fabulous. Kitchen was stocked well (main pain has a loose/wobbly handle, so bring your own), soaps/detergent/shampoos were great, linens & towels were wonderful, beds & pillows were heavenly. The tadpoles in the little man-made pond were a ton of fun (the pond is super small and shallow, more of a large puddle, so anyone over toddler age would be safe in my opinion). My kids found a lizard and that was definitely a highlight. Even without AC, we were able to manage the temperature just fine through open windows and fans (it was 80s when we were there). My kids loved watching "old "movies from the huge DVD collection. Batteries are in desperate need of replacing. Most remotes didn't have them, or they were dead. Also, a picture guide that shows which remote is for which device would be nice. We figured it out. The stairs to the river are intense. My adventurous 5-year-old couldn't do them without constant encouragement and help. The loose steps need to be fixed (rocks and wood blocks don't count). I misunderstood what "river access" meant. You go down the steep steps to the fire pit, but the river was super-fast, and the other properties are right there along the river too. So, you can "explore" about 100 feet. If it was just a bunch of adults that enjoy sitting and enjoying the ambiance of a fast river, it would be perfect.

Wonderful house for a family vacation

The property was beautiful and the sound of the river was so relaxing! We had a wonderful time there! Some things to note: the master suite is in a loft space that's open to the living room, so not a lot of privacy. Outside, the deck is doesn't have a good way to block off the oversized step area, so we couldn't just let our dogs be out with us, without them being on a leash (one of them is a runner) The internet was fine for normal use, but when my daughter needed to be on a zoom call, we all needed to stop using the internet in order for her to have uninterrupted service, but it was fine for streaming and everything else we needed to do. All of these things are just for information - nothing I mentioned detracted from our stay. We would definitely stay here again - especially in the winter - the area is beautiful and the snow covered trees were magical! Leavenworth is a short drive - we went daily to enjoy the Christmas festivities there. The kitchen had basically everything I needed to make home cooked meal our entire stay (I did bring a crock pot, as there's not one on the property) I asked several questions both before and during our stay and always received prompt, helpful replies. We had a GREAT stay!

Looks bigger in the pictures

Still a nice place if you dont mind the occasional stink bug or spider, pictures look nicer than the place itself. The paths down to the river is very steep and the current is not safe. If you bring a dog make sure they cant get down there, they could get swept away.
