I had never been to Philly. Anthony, the manager, talked me through how to get there after Google Maps totally bungled the directions. He told me about the parking garage across the street, which is very convenient and the hotel gave me a 30% discount (yay!). The hotel is convenient to the park and many restaurants and a niche grocery store just down the street, DeBrunos. It's in what used to be a finance company I think, so it has a lot of character. The room was perfect, it was just for me, had everything I needed. It reminded me of a dormer room I had in a B&B in England many years ago.

Short Stay with Club Quarters

Stayed for 2 nights at this boutique hotel. Room was small and had minimal walk space. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small and lacking counter space. The shower pressure was nice. Overall, it was a decent stay and the location was within walkable distance to many places. When you enter the hotel, there is no one and nothing there, but a set of elevators, which you take to the lobby.

Great!!! But…

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. I don’t want to give less than 5* because the hotel and the staff were excellent. The only problem Inhad was parking. It wasn’t exactly clear how that worked, and I ended up paying almost as much for parking as I did for the room.
