Great Place for a Solo Stay Over in Phoenix!

A great little guest suite in Phoenix. The room was clean with all necessary amenities. Easy to access and find, a very cute little property. Loved the little “guard dog” Oreo!

My Phoenix getaway

I traveled with my dog and after ma y hours in the car she loved being able to run around in the enclosed courtyard. Beautiful landscaping!

Cute and Quaint

This a delightful property in a great location with a pleasant ambiance. Susanna is discreet and very easy to work with. The bed is super comfortable and I loved all the antique touches in the decor. Great location and price.

First the (minor) things that could be improved. As mentioned in the previous review, this place has great potential, with some minor improvements over time it can be really nice (such as upgrades to the fridge & microwave). Susanna: I have stayed in a lot of houses over the years, feel free to email me for other suggestions. The hot water takes a while and the TV reception isn't the greatest, no big deal. The neighbors were a little loud at times, but I wasn't around much. Now the positives. Plenty of privacy, cute décor inside and out, great central Phoenix location and price. The host did a very good job communicating before and during my stay. A small mother-in-law suite, ideal for one or two people only. Based on the price and location, I would definitely recommend to others.

Nice spot. Clean and simple.

The good: The bed was comfortable. The unit was clean and quiet. The garden, though I spent no time in it, was lovely to walk through.The weird: This unit has no stove (this may have been mentioned in the description, but I didn't see it). While there is a hot plate the "kitchen" area is not ventilated, and has a smoke detector immediately above the counter, so cooking anything that might smoke is out. The key left for the door did not fit the lock's keyway. Fortunately, the door is also coded, and the property manager was quick to respond to me when I arrived and was unable to get in.Overall a good experience for the price.

It’s a bit dark inside but has a great patio. The owner gives good instructions on arrival, but no more communication over the next 4 days.

Stay at Home Away

The property was beautiful and well groomed. Unfortunately the weather was a little chilly for Phoenix so we didn’t get to enjoy the patio, but the house was in a great location to make other choices. Cheers!

Room for improvement

Cons- the bed squeaks so much- it wakes you every time you roll over, there is a musty/moldy smell in the bathroom and the towels are crusty/ rough like sand paper, there is no hair dryer, the mat at the entrance is a fall hazard on the slick tile, the area reserved for visitor parking is invisible at night, the neighbors fight and cuss each other out every night. Pros- the space is clean, beautiful fountains with running water. Owners are kind with adorable puppy. Spacious area including bathroom, bedroom and small front room. Decor is beautiful.

Convenient Comfortable

Cozy, small but good for 2. Bed was a double and we slept ok, comfortable bed. Shower, bathroom was clean and good. Common area has chairs, desk, tv, WiFi. Also a coffee, small frig, microwave. Great shopping and restaurants in the area.

Very nice property manager

We had planned our stay on the same week that the President advised everyone not to travel because of Corona virus. I was in the at-risk group so we cancelled. The property manager, very sweetly, refunded our money. That says a lot about her character. Since she was so considerate, we considered everything as a 5 star.

This apartment met our expectations based on the images and descriptions on VRBO. We were also pleased that we were within a 15 minute drive to the Phoenix Mayo Clinic which was where we had an appointment. Susanna was a great host!
