Do not recommend, read carefully before booking
I have been a hotels.com customer for around 10 years and this is the first time I have felt cheated in the form of value and quality of the location. Positives and negatives of this stay are described below
1. Beware that you will receive information from the host on paying a deposit prior to arriving (not stated in the terms I read on hotels.com) and how to gain entry to the location. I changed email address between booking and arriving and unfortunately, the booking company only got the old email.
2. The apartments are dark and NOTHING like the pictures on hotels.com. Street lights are absent around the complex and I usually don't feel unsafe but in this area I did. The taxi driver and I could not find the house numbers on arrival a dark evening.
There is a little under a mile to the nearest Safeway and that is not a pleasant or safe walk so I would recommend this apartment to people with a car.
3. The apartment is clean and the couch and beds are comfortable and the necessary equipment is present in the kitchen.
4. I stayed in number 3 which is a ground floor apartment and even though the person above me was not wearing shoes inside it was incredibly noisy when they walked around upstairs as was their use of showers etc.
5. There is a short 15min walk to downtown and the convention center which is definitely a plus for the location. There are several decent food options within walking distance.
6. The host is quite rude in communication around complaints.
