The pool is heated year-round with a heat pump and is set to 85°F for guests. During colder months, when ambient temperatures fall below 45°F, the pool may reach approximately 72–76°F.

Please note: The pool fence will be permanently removed in the near future. At the time of your stay, the pool may not be fenced and will be fully open. This is especially important for guests traveling with young children or anyone requiring additional supervision around a pool. Guests are responsible for ensuring appropriate pool safety at all times.

The home is in an older, quiet residential neighborhood adjacent to Encanto Village. We’ve owned the property since 2014 and can confirm it’s safe, peaceful, and centrally located. Grocery stores are nearby, with popular dining and shopping a short drive east. Areas north and west toward the I-17 are less desirable.

Our stay last week was quite disappointing, especially for the price we paid. The Good: The beds were quite comfortable, the misters outside were great, and the house is in great proximity to everything we wanted to get to.The Bad: We had to clean out the fridge from someone else’s food. I don’t just mean a few drinks left, like the fridge and freezer had food in them. There was also a dresser drawer full of someone else’s clothes. Really makes me wonder what was done between stays!? The photos from the listing also showed many pool floaties, which we were really excited for. There were none of the photographed floaties and only a couple very old sad things, one of which had a hole and little beads leaked that we had to clean up. The home is listed for sale, so I wonder if they removed many amenities? Not sure. The location, which close to things, is not in a nice part of town at all.The Ugly: This house was not clean at all and in serious need of some TLC. With a toddler, this is especially important to us. He was pulling chunks out of a floor level vent, for example. Cabinets off the hinges, a live wire sticking out of an outlet in the kids room, a terrible sewage smell when the master toilet was flushed, the drains in the bathroom were full of hair and gunk. I am surprised the home is in this condition for rental, much less for sale. I was very thorough and read all the reviews, which were high and noted cleanliness, so this was extremely disappointing.

Home is well appointed. Very clean property. Pool is heated and is a treat for the kids in winter (it was in the upper 70's in Dec this year!) Very nice place to stay and lots of stores and places to eat nearby. Encanto Park is large and close. One can rent paddle boats in the pond there. Hosts are just great about communications. Overall a top VRBO property amd host.

Perfect oasis

We absolutely loved this home. It's very conveniently located to almost anything you need within limits. We were there for a volleyball tournament and was a quick drive to our location each morning. The pool was perfect to come back to (only issue was the bees wanting to also enjoy the pool). We had a few minor issues but the homeowners were so quick to respond and make sure it was fixed. The neighbors even helped when our aim for toys were a bit over shot and landed in their lawn. We loved the game room as we used it daily! Thank you again for welcoming us and hope to stay again in future visits. We absolutely loved the food recommendations but also found some new additions!!!

A great space!

My teammates and I were in town to officiate the national banked track roller derby tournament and this house was the perfect fit. Plenty of room for everyone, incredibly comfortable, and conveniently located. We will absolutely look at staying here again for future tournaments.

Fantastic for infants/toddlers

Home was perfect for a family traveling with two 1 year old toddlers. High chair and play yard, toys, bubbles, sippy cups and toddler dishes
they provided all the things you hate to drag with you. I was concerned the heat would make it difficult for the kids to be outside however the misters dropped the outside temps by 15 degrees or more. My kids loved being outside. The snacks when we arrived after a long drive were also a nice touch. If in Phoenix I would stay here again.

AZ Fun, Sun and Baseball

We enjoyed our winter escape in AZ and this house met our needs nicely. The central location made it easy to get to 5 spring training fields and games! While at the house, the neighborhood was quiet and we LOVED the temp of the heated pool, the basketball hoop and relaxing pool side with ample shade, if desired. Inside the ping pong (and darts) was great and we enjoyed a family ping pong tournament. My daughter was excited bout the puzzles though there were only two to choose from when we were there. The bed in the master was SO comfortable! 10/10. It was also really helpful they had many places to easily charge devices. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the snack basket. It was a bonus they had sunscreen and lotion on hand too. The host was very responsive and helpful.

This property was well equiped and exactly as described. The pool was working and in great condition. The house was baby friendly. We greatly appreciated the crib, chairs, and toys which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Fun place!

We had a great stay here. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen is well appointed. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but we dipped our hands in there and it was nice and warm in February.
