Superb resort, everything was perfect. Free upgrade upon arrival to an Ocean view room with private pool. Absolutely stunning. Food was excellent Staff were brilliant Included a free 30 minute massage at the pool! Would highly recommend.

The resort was under renovation and it was not mentioned at time of the booking so it was a surprise for us to find that the whole resort was pretty much under construction. The first morning we missed the breakfast due to jet lag, although they accommodate a couple of toast and a croissant with coffee, they did charge us -even though we did pay extra for the breakfast included option at booking. It is an average resort and I guess you get what you pay. We normally stay a more up range resorts and the difference is obvious.

Wonderful and peaceful

We were upgraded to a Beachfront Pool Villa (thanks Vijitt!), and it was the most amazing setting. The private pool and view is magnificent, and the rooms are lovely. It was very private. We loved the beach, even though there are no waves, the quietness makes up for it.

Extremely relaxing. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Scenery amazing. With all Phuket’s booming tourist trade this was an oasis in the desert. Reminded me of the old Thailand from years ago. Everything about this resort top notch.if you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to come.

Staff very helpful. Breakfast is good. Massage at the spa is fantastic and professional. Our villa had a great view, huge bath that also had the ocean vista. Room was comfortable - enormous bed. Bring insect repellent and antihistamines as mosquitoes are rampant.

nice well designed hotel undergoing maintenance and repairs … low season so very few guests. Staff are wonderful, management missed the point. we were advised room upgrade if available and late checkout if available.. no upgrade on room despite minimal guests staying and we were offered a 2 hour extension for check out but charged heaps (even after discussions) to obtain a 2 hour later checkout … shame as staff and all were lovely.

The resort is beautifully designed and well maintained. The villas are spacious and each is private. Gardens are wonderful. Resort is built on a small hillside down to beach but there are buggies that you can request to get you to and from beach or restaurant. Staff are excellent-very helpful and friendly. Food and service also excellent. Maria at breakfast especially lovely!

We booked the beach villa and had a spectacular view of the ocean from our bedroom, private porch and private garden. We also had an incredible view of the ocean from our bathtub and outdoor shower which was just extra special. The resort is magnificent, well kept gardens and gorgeous local artwork created a wonderful setting for romantic walks. We appreciated the Thai style architecture which made all the villas and other amenities blend into the landscape beautifully. It was a real pity that we could not swim in the sea, partly because it’s so shallow but mostly because it is dirty from local fishing boats down the the way. Other than that, it truly is paradise and we highly recommend this resort. It was my husbands and my birthday, they decorated the room and made us each a beautiful cake. We felt really well taken care of.

Overall, we enjoyed the Vijitt Resort. However, at the time of year we stayed (late March, early April), termites are a problem in the rooms that have yet to have ceilings/new roofs fitted. This would not have been a significant issue, were it not for the fact that my daughter, whose room was infested, was told that she could not move to another room. She was eventually moved, but we had to argue the toss to make it so. But, overall, it is a decent hotel/resort - the rooms are huge and the setting is delightful.
