Parking around Big Bear Resort is generally available, but it can feel a bit tight — kind of like city parking, especially during busier times. Each unit is allowed one parking spot in the lot at the bottom of the hill. The spots aren't assigned, but there's usually enough for everyone staying in the complex.



If you have more than one vehicle, there's "Excess Parking" nearby, plus a few extra spots in front of and behind the condo buildings up the hill. No trailers or motorhomes unless they can fully fit into a standard-sized parking space.



The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood is a fantastic blend of convenience, mountain charm, and resort-style amenities. Located within Big Bear Resort, this area is perfect for those looking to enjoy the best of Pigeon Forge while still having a peaceful retreat in the Smoky Mountains.

Getting Around:

The drive is easy — just a half mile off the Parkway in a developed area. Unlike remote cabins with steep, winding roads, this location is much more accessible. The only challenge is a steep switchback at the neighborhood entrance, but most cars handle it fine. In icy conditions, it could be tricky until plows have salted the road.

All VBRO listings should have pictures of the parking and stairs. It was written under the reviews that parking was down a hill and the front door was down 2 flights of stairs. It was not possible for myself with 2 kids to walk uphill with luggage and then down stairs. We had to get a hotel in town.

I liked that it was quiet and yet close to everything. The only thing I didn’t like was that they don’t check to make sure people with big vehicles park where they should it was hard to get parking in my section and hard to get through. But I do know Rod Run was going on and I’m sure that was a lot of the trucks. But we loved or experience there.

We were just going for a little weekend getaway. This cabin was so comfortable and cozy. The modern twist of a log cabin. The bed was absolutely comfortable and the best part was the hot tub. It was great just to sit and soak after a busy day in the mountains. Highly recommend.

Very nice accommodations, wasn’t what I was expecting but that doesn’t take away from the property. I was expecting more seclusion but it was a very quiet, peaceful retreat. The cabin was clean and furnished nicely. My only complaint would be, there was no parking in front of our cabin but spots were available relatively close. I would stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing time there. House was perfect for the two of us. Managers were excellent and responded very quickly to anything we needed. Only down side for us was a few cleanliness issues

Convienient cabin

Cabin is in a great location. Close to everything. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Only downside was there wasnt a privacy screen on the side where the cabin closest to you is, so there is little to no privacy. Everything else was great!

Nice place to stay

Mr McNutt was wonderful to work with. The only downside was that it does not state that it is a bottom floor unit and if you have loud people above you, you can hear everything. Having to park away from the unit and walk up a hill to the cabin was not a problem for me and I would stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Highly recommend for couples that get around fairly well. Nice cabin not far off the parkway close to everything! We had a few issues with alarms going off (property management took care of) and kids stomping in the cabin above but all in all very nice place to stay.
