Le Relais is situated in a delightful and peaceful village, surrounded by glorious countryside of sunflowers, cornfields and woods, a nature lovers paradise. This lovingly restored 12th century Country post house has all you need for a perfect, relaxing holiday. You can go walking, fishing, beaches, canoe, play golf or tennis, dine out, all within 10 mins. The attractive, enclosed garden provides peace and tranquillity as well as areas for games and activities. Both, a paved area beneath a shady pergola and a sunny terrace, are ideal for alfresco meals.There is a very large, airy dining room (62sq.m) with a piano, seats 28, a spacious salon, comfortably furnished and with plenty of books, opening onto a Perigordian balcony and a large, well equipped farmhouse kitchen. Le Relais is approximately 5km from both St.Severin and Aubeterre, the 'jewel of the Charente'. The wine regions of Bordeaux, St.Emilion/Pomerol and Cognac are not very far and well worth a visit!
