I did not stay at this property due to a double booking. I stayed at a nearby house that needs to be cleaned better, specially the floors, a shower curtain needs to be added to the beautiful update in bathroom, some plates woukd be nice. House rules and check in, check out procedures, places to visit and eat nearby would have been helpful to have posted at the house. Overall was a decent place to stay, quiet neighborhood. I would at least consider staying again.
The inside photos are somewhat representative of the interior. This is not a âpeacefulâ location. There were rowdy teens and basketball games very late. Also, you are literally right beside the highway so expect traffic noise. I could deal with all of this, but the smell. I have never left an accommodation nor have I ever left a negative review. However, I must warn others that the smell of tobacco smoke in this place was unlike anything Iâve ever experienced. I went and bought a candle hoping to improve it enough to stay through the three day reservation. Since I had left my wallet three hours away, I couldnât rent a hotel room and that is the ONLY reason I stayed one night. I left and drove back home to return the next morning to avoid staying another night. I did reach out to the host and received no response. Renters beware.
It was convenience to downtown. It was right around the corner from PicPac. The price was good but there was some issues when we first got there. The heat wasnât on and wven when it said it was it wouldnât come on. I had to contact the property owner and the property opener said everything was good but after about 30 minutes of being there, some thing happening and it got turned on. It wouldâve not of been a big deal but it was 50° outside. The hot water from the sink was leaking all over the floor and we didnât know about it, although that wouldâve not been been a big deal either if we had known about it. The back bedroom had no heat in it coming from the vent. The living room was converted into a bedroom so there wasnât really any sitting area either, but it was right across the street from a Park so that was definitely a positive. Overall, it was a nice place to stay but bring your own cooking ware.
