Pistoia was elected 'Italian Capital of Culture' in 2017 and is definitely worth a visit. Within a 4-minute drive you can find a shopping centre with supermarket, shops, bar and pharmacy. The villa is in a central location for visiting the northern part of Tuscany. In particular, at a distance of about an hour's drive you will find: Florence with its art treasures (40 Km) Pisa (50 Km) with the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower, Lucca with its splendid city walls (45 Km) Montecatini and Monsummano with its thermal baths and grottoes (20 minutes), the high Tuscan-Emilian Apennines with its splendid mountains equipped for winter sports and for trekking and mountain-bike trips in summer. In addition, the most famous seaside resorts of Versilia (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi) with dozens of kilometres of large, equipped sandy beaches can be easily reached in 50 minutes by motorway.
