Love the location, parking was easy and communication was great but the space itself was extremely dirty and had multiple fire hazards. we eventually left to stay in a hotel.
Nice little home. The outside area was perfect. The grocery store is within walking distance. Close to University of Pittsburgh. Close to the zoo and other attractions. The communication from the host was wonderful.
The host was the most accommodating! He was wonderful. Cute little 1 bedroom stay on Pittsburgh best side. We were literally 10 minutes from everywhere we went. 100% percent recommend!
The location of this property is ideal if youâre looking for a safe, walkable area with plenty of fun places to enjoy food, drinks, & other activities. Highly recommend walking to Merchant Oyster Co. and hanging around that area of Lawrenceville. The property itself is ideal if youâre just looking for a place to stay/sleep after exploring in Pittsburgh. There isnât a whole lot of space inside to hang out, and the backyard is shared with other properties in the area so not the most ideal for privacy.
The biggest drawback is that the entire bottom floor smells like the basement, which isnât the most pleasant smell. There isnât a door on the basement so we figured this was why, but Iâm honestly not sure it would cover up the smell even if there was one. The few air fresheners that were there when we got there didnât work, but we spent most of our time in the city so it wasnât the biggest deal for us.
The host was great, very responsive and thoughtful with a check in email on arrival to see if everything was alright. This is something that is much appreciated, and I felt that if we needed anything at any point that it would be taken care of quickly.
Overall great location with a very nice host!
Good communication, budget friendly. Definitely and older home, but has everything you need - ex: I had to duck my head at the bottom of the stairs, but a/c worked great. Close to lots of shopping, food, and places to drink.
