My experience at the Drury Inn Plaza was largely excellent, characterized by exceptional service and great amenities. However, there were a couple of minor issues that impacted the overall comfort and booking satisfaction: * Air Quality/Comfort: The dryness of the forced-air heating/cooling system was notable. Both my children and I woke up feeling very stuffy in the mornings. Implementing humidifiers in the rooms could significantly enhance guest comfort. * Room Assignment: I was disappointed with the change in my reserved room. I had specifically booked a higher-level room for an important family photo opportunity with my niece. Upon arrival, I was informed the higher-level rooms were "overbooked" and we were moved to the 5th floor. While the hotel kindly compensated me by removing one night's charge, the initial frustration remains. It would be beneficial for the hotel to ensure greater fidelity to specific room category bookings or provide clearer communication well in advance if changes are unavoidable. Despite these two points, the staff was accommodating, and the stay was good. I would consider staying here again, but I will call the hotel directly prior to arrival to confirm the specifics of my room reservation.

5:30 Kickback was nice. Food was good and it was a great vibe.

Before it was the Plaza Hotel it was a bank, the building is amazing and a lot of historical significance.

I stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown in November while in town for the Steelers game, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment I checked in, the service was warm, friendly, and efficient — exactly what you want after a long drive. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and surprisingly quiet given its central location. My room was spacious and comfortable with a great bed, plenty of room to spread out, and everything felt well-kept and updated. I especially appreciated how relaxing it was to come back to after the game. The added perks are what really set this place apart. The evening Kickback with complimentary food and drinks was a huge win — unexpected and genuinely convenient. Breakfast in the morning was hearty with lots of options, which made getting an early start easy. Location is perfect. Downtown is walkable, and getting to and from Acrisure Stadium for the Steelers game was very manageable. Whether by rideshare or walking part of the way, the hotel made it easy without the stress of parking near the stadium. Overall, Drury Plaza delivered comfort, value, and convenience across the board. I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I come to Pittsburgh — especially for a football weekend.

Rita, stood out! She was kind, personable, and helpful. The mattress in 714 needs replacing, and the rug on the right side of the bed has a long tear. The hot bar needs to be hot and thee waitress@ the 4th St Bar, on the 2nd floor, with the curly hair is rude.

Loved, loved loved! Staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel! Every person on the staff we met was amazing, helpful, kind and engaging. The room and bed was comfortable, no traffic noise in a downtown hotel. Walking distance to Point Park and Christmas markets. Loved the complementary dinner snacks and breakfast. Would stay there again every time I visit Pittsburg! 😊
