Romantic Cozy Mountain Retreat near Killington

This architect-designed, contemporary mountain chalet features all the classic element of the Robert Carl Williams aesthetic – from the stone fireplace and the soaring vaulted wood ceilings, framed by walls of glass, to the wide pine floors, custom doors, steeply pitched roofs and white accent chimney.  This stunning home is set against a lovely wooded backdrop adjacent to the community swimming pond.   It is located in Pittsfield, approximately 8 miles from Killington.  

Recent interior renovations opened up the kitchen and living space with natural light and offering lovely long-range views from both the new kitchen and living room.   Kitchen has high-end appliances, quartz countertops and custom backsplash.    

Stunning spa-like oasis bathroom with striking walnut woodwork, elegant marble tile shower with multiple shower head, luxurious radiant floor heating and high-quality Kohler tub and fixtures.  The views from the tub on a snowy day cannot be beat!

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and features beautiful wide pine foors and a custom built-in dresser.   The second bedroom is smaller in size and has a full size bed.  All beds have luxurious sheets and pillows.  

This is the ultimate romantic getaway!

Our stay in this house was amazing, everything was perfect as described and like pictures. 20 mins from Killington Mountain and Pico Mountain.

Cozy spot near Killington Ski Area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was more than well appointed. They have everything you need to cook your own meals. Loved the gas stove and all the appliances. We enjoyed the wood stove and TV after a day of “Spring” skiing at nearby Killington. The bathroom shower and area was clean and tidy. We didn’t use the tub but it did look inviting. They supplied almost everything you would need for a pleasant stay including some great snacks. Our pup loved the place as well. He enjoyed walking up to the pond area. Only wildlife we saw were turkeys and blue jays. We would definitely stay there again!

great updated cabin in a convenient area to Killington

We booked this property so we could have a nice place in the mountains to stay, but also be close enough to Killington to have an easy drive up to the resort. The host was incredibly kind, accommodating, and very responsive. The cabin was exceedingly cozy, and the living area with all those windows was our favorite place to hang out and enjoy a fire & coffee with a view of the snow outside. We had all the necessities (and way more) for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The bed/bedding was also very comfortable. I can't give enough stars!

Perfect cozy retreat

My husband and I booked this house for a quick 2 night skiing trip at Killington. After walking into this house our only thought was why couldn't our trip be longer! The house was perfectly appointed with all you could need in the kitchen and the bed was to die for! OF course the bathroom must be mentioned as well, a nice soak in the tub surrounded by nature was exactly what the doctor ordered after a long day on the slopes. The hosts were wonderful to work with and great at communicating details of our trip and suggestions for local restaurants. We certainly hope to return again for future visits to the area.

Dream house

When we pulled up it was like I was arriving at the house of my dreams. A beautiful a frame in the trees in winter. Inside had everything you could imagine. It was a wonderful spot, comfy with the best bed. Everything was amazing. Perfect location. Hosts are amazing Would stay again.
