This vacation rental is part of the newly constructed Swan Villas, which are located about seven miles north of Placencia Village. Within a mile, there is the best restaurant in all Belize, Maya Beach Bistro, not to mention several other incredible restaurants, as well as entertainment such as snorkeling and kayaking. Borrow bikes from the resort and explore Placencia on two wheels, or stay close to home and relax by the outdoor pool or sunbathe on the beach.

The Swan Villas were lovingly designed to incorporate the idea of organic architecture, promoting harmony between nature and humanity with round shapes, plant life, and other details to remind you of being outdoors. If you're traveling with a larger group, please know that you can also rent other Swan Villa suites.

A two-level design makes this villa feel extra spacious. On the ground floor, you'll find additional bench seating, as well as the fully equipped kitchen, which has everything you need to put together a quick meal. There's also a hot tub in the living room. The private washer/dryer makes it easy to keep your clothes clean and fresh. Head upstairs to find the bed and the shower, which is possibly the most luxurious shower you will ever encounter. It features a rain showerhead, interesting greenery, and abundant natural light - it's as though you're showering in the middle of the jungle! Nice units, quiet location

We stayed in one of the one bedroom, 2 level units (seahorse). The property and unit was very nice and clean. The pool is not big, but was nice to cool off in and the shaded areas around the pool and hammocks were perfect for relaxing outside. The property is about a 15 minute walk away from grocery or restaurants or the public beach area, and the road is mostly unlit at night and there are no real sidewalks, so plan for that. A lot of people rent golf carts to get around the peninsula, but we didn't book ahead and there was no availability. So we made use of the bikes provided until we picked up our rental car. The kitchen had everything we needed and was functional, but a barbeque area outside would have been nice. Overall we had a great stay.

The staff were great and attentive. Responded to emails and questions promptly. Kitchen was pleasantly stocked with pots, pans and dishes for two. Bed was very comfortable. Rocks in shower made an uneven standing surface. Spiral staircase is narrow so probably not a good fit for an unstable person. I would hope maintenance will correct sauna (heater did not work), dishwasher did not work, and several electrical plugs would not reset. Bring your sunscreen and bug spray, you will need it. Thanks.

Excellent customer care from the property manager

Very unique property, and a lot of fun to stay at. Couple of issues and the hot tub didn't work and it was repaired but then the heating element was not it so no hot tub. Property manager was incredible and even supported us during the hurricane.

Nice place, very unique, better if hot tub worked properly

Don't book the Seahorse unit if you want a properly working hot tub. We read reviews of it not working back in November 2021. We got reassurance from Vacasa that it had been fixed when we booked in March 2022. But it still didn't heat up. Otherwise, it's a nice place.

Concierge staff was phenomenal, Anna helped find the most amazing tours and restaurants in placencia. Kaprie was a great manager getting back to us with questions we had about the unit. Only downfall to this place is the jacuzzi, it’s basically a tease. Doesn’t get hot and it’s difficult to turn on.

Covid friendly stay

We were looking for a change of scenery but in a clean safe environment and this fit the bill. From lockbox checkin to a full kitchen to prepare meals everything was handled so we felt comfortable vacationing here. With food and water we didn’t need to leave but we did go to tutti-frutti in placencia of course. Loved the relaxing hot tub and comfy bed. It was especially private since no one else was there but even so it would be private since its its own unit. The pool and hammock was also nice and well maintained despite Covid. A great view of the lagoon and mountains in the distance. Easy walk across the road if you want to see the sea as well. We were allowed early checkin which was nice and any questions were addressed quickly by the local contact. Overall a nice stay.

Outdoor pool was very clean and the grounds were pretty. Overall our villa was not deep cleaned. Stairs, countertops, shelves weren't as clean as could be. Hot tub was overchlorinated to the point where our eyes burned just sitting on the couch. Needs more outdoor lighting!
