Overall, we had a very nice time. The staff was mostly very friendly, especially Miguel at Lola, Raul at Capri, and Ernesto at the pool. They were great! The water both at the pool and beach were awesome. The beach is nice and the sand is soft. I hate the chair game, but I know it’s worse at other resorts. Compared to last year when we stayed, I think the food quality at the restaurants has gone down a little. However, the poolside bbqs were great! Loved the variety. And the outdoor Mexican night was amazing! We had a good time as a group of friends. (I have to include that we turned down the upgrade because we didn't want to be facing the pool and preferred to be closer to our friends.)

The property was okay. Very small, easy to walk everywhere. The problem was the food was absolutely horrific, inedible at times. The entertainment was absolutely horrendous as well.

The Hyatt Zilara is wonderful. All the staff are extremely kind and the food is delicious. There are so many activities to participate in and the grounds are clean and well taken care of. We loved our stay!!

Great relaxing resort. Only two problems. Only had one staff member checking in on Sunday around 5pm for a larger group. Drinks were not always consistent. Other than that, we would definitely go back. Food was excellent and coffee shop was amazing.

It was a beautiful smaller resort. Very convenient. Food and entertainment was excellent. The only criticism. I would have would be that we didn’t get washcloths in our room two of the days, but staff brought them quickly upon request.

I had the best time at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya! My husband and I came for a few days to escape winter in New York and it was lovely. It was my first time at an all inclusive so I was a little wary but this resort exceeded my expectations. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is attentive and polite. Special shoutout to Karla in reception who upgraded our room and to Sofia, our butler, who was accommodating and made us feel extra special and welcome. We loved relaxing at the beach cabanas and our private pool. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. We especially enjoyed our dinners at the sushi counter and the Italian restaurant. The hotel has a more relaxed atmosphere than a party one which was exactly what we wanted.

This resort has a much more expensive feel than what we paid. Overall nicer than the Sandals resort we visited in Jamaica back in April (which was about $2000USD more). Facilities are clean and in good condition, rooms are excellent. While this resort does not have a large number of restaurants to choose from, most everything we had was very good. You arent going to get Michelin star dining in this price range, so you shouldn't expect it. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety of dishes each day to supplement the recurring items. Staff didnt stand around with hands out expecting tips, but they were appreciative when we did. We will definitely return to this property.

This property is an excellent choice for adults that are looking for a quiet vacation. the pool is not terribly loud during the day, but they do have activities at various times that are enjoyable. Rooms are nice size and well appointed. All dining and bars are easy to access and the property does not require a lot of walking. this hotel has the best fitness center we have seen in our many trips to Riviera Maya. Staff was generally friendly and service was good, with 2 exceptions. The buffet staff are very slow to get your beverages, sometimes we were almost finished with our meal before getting our drinks. Also, the Wednesday night outdoor dinner was terribly planned. Waited in line for 1 hour before getting food, then by the time we got to a table the food was cold and we never saw a waiter so we had no drinks. Restaurants were excellent quality. Overall we were happy and will return on a future visit.
