The Junior Villa features one bedroom with a king-size bed, one bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, a living room with a sleeper sofa, private deck, and two TVs. The mattress is one of the most comfortable you will ever sleep on, along with the highest quality bedding. A sofa in the entry can sleep one adult or two children, with it's own TV and separate entrance into the bathroom. A kitchenette provides a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with provided coffee. Each sleeping area has its own climate controls as well as a ceiling fan and blackout curtains. A huge shower with giant rain head and separate wand makes even taking a shower a spa experience, while using the spa products provided. A simple call to the concierge can have any of the products replaced if you run out. A comfortable robe and slippers are also provided for your stay. The jacuzzi tub area has panels you can open through to the sleeping area if you choose. Soak in the tub with the provided bath oil, salts or bubble bath. A hall closet provides a safe (choose your own code), a luggage rack and hangers for long and short items. Also in the closet is an iron with ironing board, and laundry services if you choose to utilize it. Coin operated laundry is onsite if needed. Housekeeping cleans expertly each day, as well as a turn down service, leaving a treat of incredible Mexican chocolate on your pillow each night. You may even get treated to a towel art creation left on your bed!
There are several ways to get around and enjoy the entire resort. Walk or run for miles on winding, wooden paths through the jungle, connecting every part of the resort. Be sure to take a walk after dark to see the amazing lighted paths and orbs hanging in the trees. Or, just arrange transportation on one of the many shuttles that can take you directly to any of your destinations within the resort.
Enjoy any of the pools on the resort, including the Grand Luxxe Pool and the Beach Club, only open to Grand Luxxe members. Participate in aqua stretching, Spanish lessons, card games and crafts at the Grand Luxxe pool. Spend the day in a bungalow in your own corner of the pool at the Beach Club, with your own dedicated wait staff to bring you food and drinks. Visit the Infinity Pool overlooking the lake and be treated to iguana sightings! The pool also has it's own small beach area for the kids. The Mayan Sanctuary Pool is truly that - a sanctuary! It's the best of all the pools combined, with quiet alcoves or the main open area. As with all pools at the resort, order food and drinks from wherever you lounge and they will be brought right to you with a smile.
Take a walk on the white sand beach and dip your toes (or entire body) in the warm Carribean Sea waters. Find a lounger or bed right on the beach and spend the day in the sun. Staff will take your food and drink orders and bring it right to you on the beach.
