The property is overdue for maintenance. Rooms are outdated and you can see walls in the room in poor conditions. The curtain and the hooks in the bathroom totally rusty, pretty ugly. The towels too, MUST be replaced they're in pretty bad shape. Breakfast is good and the restaurant personnel was super attentive and courteous. Especially Lupe and Gerardo, not to mention the Chef

The location of the hotel is very convenient if you want to travel around and have a rental car. In general we had a nice stay, however our room was very basic, room was nice and spacious, but lacked little amenities or services that I was expecting. To make myself clear, this is a good hotel, but has way too much room for improvement. My room was rather large in size, however we did not have a sitting area, there was only a desk and a desk chair, most hotels have a nice chair/sofa for you to sit down and get dress or relax. We did not have a safe, nor a hair dryer. We had to ask the front desk to get a luggage rack and an ice bucket. I was not expecting resort level services, but I was certainly expecting the basic amenities to get a nice sleep and the room equipped to comfortably be able to get a good night sleep, and to have the resources to cleanup comfortably and keep my valuables safe. Not so bad, but could improve.

It a 15 to 27 min walk to the 5th avenida. It like 10 to 13 min walk to chedraui and mcdonald's. Conviently close to collectivos to cancun and tulum 15 min walk. Only critic about this hotel is they have a mini bar for snacks at elvated prices, their is no daily managers reception, the beach offered is at a cost 500 or 600 pesos to beach clubs that are really far,no coffee or tea in common areas and no area shuttle (only taxis that charge alot ). But the rooms are renovated and beautiful, staff is so nice and meet your needs and the breakfast buffets are so yummy. They had adobe beef, green chile beef, nopal beef, hot dog casserole, pasta and potato beef stew. Aside from pancakes, cereals, breads, fresh cut fruit, qnd make your own chilaquiles. The chef is amazing and staff is constantly cleaning and placing more pans of freshly made food. Beware it the mexican locals that hog all the food or tamper with it. Like leaving it open, contaminating it by putting back what they served themselves or dropping other food when serving onto other containers . I seen turíst being more cautious with this. Like example papaya dropped into yogurt pan. Im allergic to papaya so I couldnt enjoy the yogurt.

As soon as we open the room to the room a roach came crawling out. Then the shower was soapy and when water would be turn on, it would not drain properly. Also, for laundry you have to be on a schedule to use washer and dryer, it would be nice to have at least one washer/dryer that you don’t have to be in schedule as we didn't have the time for that. Food was edible.
