Marinerâs Point is perched on the hillside overlooking Playa Hermosa. The gated community has 4 buildings and offers covered, dedicated parking just steps from your condo. There is a beautiful oceanview community pool with a large palapa, swim-up seating, beach chairs, and even a lap pool! With just 200 meters separating you from the beach, this condo is perfect for travelers wanting to hear the waves crashing while still being close to amenities.
Playa Hermosa is a small community just 25-minutes from Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia. There are 2 grocery stores, many amazing dining options, and a spectacular beachfront featuring a walking path. Itâs a great launching point for scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours. Youâre also close to several area day trip spots â waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. You are just a few minutes from the conveniences of Playas del Coco with several grocery stores, many restaurants, bars, and shops.
Enter into the open living space featuring a comfortable living room, dining area and gourmet kitchen. The wall of windows and sliding doors gives you an indoor/outdoor feel with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. In the kitchen, youâll cook up some great meals with stainless-steel appliances, wooden cabinets and beautiful granite countertops. Head down the main hallway to one of the three bedrooms, each with plush beds, large windows and en suite bathrooms.
Outside on the covered terrace is an entire outdoor living space with spaces to lounge, eat or chill while the ocean is crashing below. Thereâs even a large gas BBQ built into the outdoor kitchen space. The terrace offers a shaded area to take in the ocean breezes or head to the ocean-view swimming pool for some fun in the sun.
Marinerâs Point has a beautiful oceanview community pool with a large palapa, swim-up bar, beach chairs and a lap pool!
Guests will be most comfortable with a rental car for their stay, which we can assist with! The home is perched high in the hills of the Hermosa and is not accessible by foot or golf cart. We do not recommend this home without a rental car or private driver.
The unit was spacious and well maintained, even if slightly dated. The views are to die for here, and clearly the best part of the property, as nothing beat the morning coffee from the terrace. We spent a week in Coco and a week in Hermosa, which have totally different vibes. Coco is filled with restaurants, grocery stores, bars, etc., which are sparse in Hermosa (but only a 10 minute drive to Coco). This does make Hermosa much more peaceful, but you definitely need a car here, to be a little more forceful than the listing about being more "comfortable" with a car.The only other gripe was the lack of any welcome information to the property, thus being left on our own to find things. The listing refers to using "one of the community pools", so not knowing the property, I looked on Google maps and saw 4 buildings in the complex, each with a pool attached. So naturally we went to the pool at our building on the first day. Unknown to me, 3 of the 4 pools are private, belonging to individual condos. Only one pool (which is technically two pools with water from an infinity edge pouring into a smaller lap pool) is the "common" pool. This led to an awkward situation with the renters of the private pool. While they were nice about it, it was easily avoidable with advance communication by the property manager.
The property is beautiful and the view was breathtaking. The staff is very helpful and the beach is accessible. Most Everything you need is provided except for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which is disclosed on amenities list. Itâs important that you have transportation,itâs a long walk up to the villas. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. Iâll be back.
Everything was wonder but one caveat that I feel should have been mentioned in the description. Its on a very steep hill so the close walk to the beach ended up being much more challenging. No sidewalks, so walking to a store or restaurants wasn't as convenient. Right after we booked. We were highly encouraged to get a rental car.
We really enjoyed our stay. Terrace view is amazing and very peaceful. Shout out to Edgar, one of the sfaff, for being so kind and making us feel so welcome! Path to beach is a steep downhill and takes about 10 minutes. Unit was very clean and great communication with Rich Coast vacations.
