La Ferme du Château de Saconay

Halfway between Lyon and Saint-Etienne, gîte easily accessed, in leafy countryside setting with wonderful views of the Lyonnais hills. It is housed in the outbuildings of the 'Château de Saconay' (in detached house, totally restored). Many windows with stunning views of the castle that has been lovely restored by the De Brosse family (living on the premises). From early June to late September, guests may enjoy the large and shared swimming-pool (12m x 5 m) everyday until 15H00 (after 15H00 the access is reserved for owners). Gîte on 2 levels. Ground floor : entrance hall, WC, kitchen, dining room, open lounge (fireplace, double sofa bed). 1st floor : hall leading to 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each) (1 bedroom with trundle beds) (family room with 2 single beds and trundle beds, private bathroom with bathtube & double washbasin), separate shower room and Wc. Cots and high chair on request. Cleaning at the end of stay included in rent. Outdoors : laundry room (accessed via stairs, washing machine, tumble dryer), extensive grounds totally private and enclosed (terrace with pergola facing due South, large garden with play area, courtyard with covered area including garden furniture, deck chairs, barbecue).
