Very cool hotel, clean, quiet rooms, on the edge of the vibrant entertainment and dining zone in Ponta Delgada but not so close that you are disturbed when you want a quiet rest. Good hotel, comfortable, close to city centre. It rates itself as 4 star but it given that amenities and furnishings were basic, I think it is more like 3 stars. Also, bathroom had a musty odor - I think it’s because of the high humidity in this region and if they put a small dehumidifier in each room that would solve the problem.

Very accommodating/friendly staff and great location. Hotel is conveniently located near many of the best restaurants Ponta Delgada has to offer, and a block away from the ocean. Parking is not included, so you have to find street parking. There’s a good parking lot for the Mercado da Graça within a block of the hotel, which often had spots. I recommended this hotel!
