Outstanding Sea Views; Lovely Accommodation

Situated next door to our (owners) home, shared drive and parking. Please show respect to the fact the owners may want to get a vehicle in and out also.

Second bedroom is off the deck with a set of bunks and bathroom is accessed via this room .. bring own linen, toiletries, food etc.
Main Bach has queen bed and dresser in one room plus kitchen/dining/living in other room. Seating in living could be used as two single beds.
Deck is great extra living and the view is exceptional.
There is no washing machine; freezer space is available.
Very close leisurely walk to the sea and rocks.
Surf casting is good from main beach plus the sea is good for swimming and surfing.
This 1950's Bach is fully insulated.
Please note there is some mobile coverage down at the beach reserve.
However, I can log you in to my WIFI providing it is used sparingly.
Note: Time to travel from Porangahau is approximately 25 minutes when the road is in a state because of weather..
PLEASE BRING ALL YOUR OWN LINEN.
Bring all own toiletries, food etc. Duvets and pillows are provided.
Obviously we are catering more to a couple, or small family, retreat.

Have a dog? .. sorry no dogs as we have a German Spitz dog and two independent cats so they would have to be strictly controlled at all times.

Note that there is extra accommodation next to the Bach by way of a cabin with a double bed however this is at an additional cost of $40 per night if required. Plus the extra guest fee (over and above 2).

If arriving after 6:00pm please notify the owners as a courtesy.

ALL RUBBISH AND RECYCLING MUST BE REMOVED.
The property must be swept, wiped down and vacuumed prior to departure.
Be sure when cleaning that the shower drain is cleaned of all hair, and/or sand.
Any damage or breakages must be notified to us (owners) and replaced or compensated for.

Awesome place to stay! Amazing views! Just a short walk to the beach. Very friendly property manager. Had the best weekend! Kids loved swimming at the beach! Also a nice safe river for the kids to swim in. Fishing wasn't the best the weekend we went. We will be back for sure!

this house old and stinks . iMy son and myself had allergy and couldnt sleep for the whole three nights.my eyes swollen strainghtaway from the allergy.all the cutleries and pots frypans are million years old.

just what we needed

The bach location is remote, overlooking a pristine NZ beach with very few people, which was just what I was after. Bach is within 100m of the beach. The owner is helpful, responded promptly to my emailed queries, even while coping with a bunch of other challenges, and we enjoyed our stay.
