We had a great time in the cabin. Good ambiance, comfortable bed, very well located for exploring the national park, fully stocked kitchen, and close to downtown Port Angeles. FYI, there is some road noise from the highway nearby. Beautiful part of the world! Thanks!
Office staff very kind and helpful. Location was perfect for ONP access and other great places. Quiet and quaint. Near by road, but you feel secluded and not any road noise unless youâre outside. We hope to come back and will stay here again.
This is a great place in the woods. The inside is beautiful, clean, and very, very nice. I slept in the loft. Super cosy, but be careful coming down the ladder in the middle of the night. My only minor complaint was how hard it was to turn the door key. However, the management is do good, Iâm certain theyâll fixed it! Iâd go back
My husband and I stayed here. Enjoyed eating outside on the deck tucked in the woods. Had everything we needed. Good spot for the areas we wanted to see.
This was our first time to the Pacific Northwest. We stayed here at the suggestion of friends and it was just lovely. The cabin has several little touches that made it a perfect place for our little family. I am glad we went to the cabin before purchasing groceries so we could see what was already there. Our one 'not so great' thing was how close the cabin is to the highway. We did hear cars early in the morning, so it's not quite as secluded as we thought. Don't let that deter you from staying.
The staff was friendly upon check-in and the cabin was clean.
Thanks for helping make our first visit memorable!
Very nice cabin a short drive to Olympic NP. Bedroom & family room nice size. Secluded back deck. A little road noise but quiet at night. Couldnât see road, just hear during day but most of our time was spent at the park. Kitchen small/compact but sufficient. Iâd stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was a little closer to the highway than expected, despite the woods, but the road noise wasnât too bad. We saw local deer grazing blackberries in the yard and loved the little path over to the campground and taking advantage of the greenhouse/garden onsite. We wish we couldâve stayed longer! Only other thing Iâd mention - it said in listing there is a Keurig, however we did not see one there. That being said, there was loose coffee provided for the coffee pot, so we didnât go without!
The cabin was even better in person than the pictures! Every inch of the space was well thought through. We had a family of four and it suited us just fine. We made all our meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen (def well stocked)! The grill was a bonus and the bed was so dang comfortable! We loved heading out to Hoh, Hurricane Ridge, and Salt Creek tide pools - we canât wait to come back!
The cabin is exactly as described and provided a great sorta central spot to reach out from. The local info provided at check in was also much appreciated. Would stay here again.
Very cute, cozy, and clean. Tucked away, you feel lots of privacy with the surrounding trees. All the amenities of home. Great water pressure in the shower. Very soft king bed. Just a short drive to all the major places of interest. One side of the property does back up to the highway, but it didn't bother us or keep us awake. The concrete counters in the kitchen are cool, but need a deep clean and then seal it or epoxy over it for easy future cleaning. If you're wanting to unplug and relax, this is perfect. If you want high speed internet, this isn't the place for you.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and the cabin is perfect. It is close to so many hikes and activities and we were so pleased with all the amenities that this property offers. We look forward to staying again.
Great setting. Road noise is audible when outside but didnât hear a thing when inside. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well appointed. My daughter and her family were staying at the campground so it was super easy for them to hang out with us. Our grandchildren even enjoyed an overnight in the loft. So much fun since we hadnât seen them in 4 months!
What a great cabin, amazing interior design and decor. All the amenities you need. Great central location with lots to do just a short drive away. Super friendly owners. We had a fabulous time staying here.
We have camped on the property before but wow, that cabin is something special. Warm and dry for a cold and wet bike race weekend made for great times. The unit is well stocked, easy to cook and clean while being very close to the race venue. We love everything about the Elwah Dam RV Park and hope to return soon!
My partner and I rented this cabin for a vacation, and so glad we did! The location is private and close enough to some really amazing places to adventure. Our hosts were very kind and responsive if needed, and the amenities of the cabin were a plus. Thank you for our stay!
This is one of the cleanest properties I've been to with wonderful amenities. A lot of thoughtfulness has gone into making guests comfortable (e.g., tissues everywhere, bandaids in the bathroom, condiments galore, plug-ins for every device type, and glass tupperware!). Hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. As a traveler I like to know the downsides to set expectations, so here are the wee things to note: the living room is smaller than I thought it would be (but very cozy and comfortable!), the loft is much smaller than I thought it would be (perfect for a child or two that can climb ladders!). That's it. Otherwise I was very grateful for the concrete counters and metal tables that I couldn't destroy, the cleanliness, and the coziness of the place. I hope to be back!
This place had all the basics we needed and was furnished perfectly for the two of us to have a place to rest and relax after a day of hiking in Olympic National Park. The hosts were so helpful, taking time to orient us and give us suggestions. They were super responsive to any questions we had. This cabin is in an RV park but off in a separate space. It is right next to a road so you can hear passing by car noise, though it is not a particularly busy roadâusually quiets down overnight. This is the only thing we would change. We would definitely stay here again!
We very much enjoyed our time spent at this cabin. It was in a perfect location for all our hikes that we had planned in Olympic state park. And I donât have enough good things to say about the bed which was a dream!! I highly recommend this location.
The cabin was comfortable and well supplied. We especially loved having the kitchen and the king size bed was a real treat. A great location for exploring the beaches and mountains of the Olympic peninsula. The only drawback was more than expected traffic noise from the secondary highway nearby but the cabin was great.
