Great Harbor Views, Walk to Victoria Ferry and downtown, Roomy Apartment!

Harbor View West is a two-story unit in a refinished house built in 1896. Perched on the bluff, large windows offer unhindered views of the harbor and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. There is one bedroom and a half-bathroom downstairs and one bedroom and full bathroom upstairs, with a full kitchen, dining area and living room. Washer and dryer are in the unit. Wooden front porch overlooks the harbor.

Super location is steps from the Zigzag in a charming neighborhood. Easy walk to the Olympic Discovery Trail and to the Coho Ferry to Victoria. Short walk to Safeway, Starbucks, and to the shops downtown.

Port Angeles is the gateway to wonders of Olympic National Park, the launch point to Victoria and Vancouver Island, and home to a friendly community. Enjoy your stay in this relaxed, comfortable setting with expansive views of the ever-changing harbor as ships cruise through the Strait.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is spacious, with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck overlooking the port and chatting with the family of deer in the garden. It is conveniently located with easy drives to Hurricane Ridge and Crescent Lake. The home is also an easy walk down to Port Angeles and its restaurants via a “zig-zag” ramp, as well as a supermarket close by. We have stayed in many VRBOs and this was one of our favorites.

The location of this place is perfect for many reasons: it is close to ONP, downtown Port Angeles, grocery stores and the ferry and many restaurants. Very comfortable accommodation with great views.

Disappointed by the fact the owner charged per guest after arriving even though the max guest was 5 which I did not exceed. It set a negative vibe for the remainder of the two week stay. House was not well appointed. No BBQ. Only 4 dinner plates, no hot pads, etc. The view was great but I don’t recommend you stay here

Really enjoyed my stay. Spacious, and clean. The front porch area was a beautiful and peaceful place to relax after a day of hiking. Host is responsive and helpful. Walking distance to downtown Port Angeles shops and restaurants.

I loved the character of the historic house. The check in and out were seamless. The views of the harbor were great, and the proximity to the park was perfect. The only thing holding back my 5th star were little necessities like having a clean sponge for dishes, or more than one pillow for the beds, or perhaps the “extras” like games, or a basic first aid kit. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

This property was charming, from the beautiful cottage flower gardens to the period furnishings. Clean, close to Olympic National park. We had a deer in the back yard nibbling on some double flowering poppies. She walked along the path in front of the house too. We needed some extra blankets - and had them within a few minutes. Highly recommend.

What a view!

The property is great for 2 couples but be aware that there's only 1 shower between the 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is modern with new appliances, but is not well stocked in that (for example) there are only 4 plates and 3 salad plates and 4 knives. There's only one large "sharp" knife that's quite dull and no baking pan. We had to bake our salmon filet in a skillet. A few more of these types of items would also save energy in that you would not need to run the dishwasher after every meal. The bedrooms badly need new bed pillows. The ones on the beds were old and flat as a pancake. The location cannot be beat and the view from the porch with its cute wicker furniture is incredible. We often saw black-tailed deer in the garden/yard. You can walk down the zig zag path to downtown and to shops and the Victoria ferry.

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed biking from the unit as well as driving to routes. Location was as described, just above town at the top of the zigzag (path to get downtown - easier to climb than stairs.2 bedrooms one down, one upstairs.
