Indian Valley Rustic Cabin
Cute studio cabin situated just off Highway 101, at the base of Mt. Baldy, one mile east of Lake Sutherland and 600 feet west of Grannyâs Cafe and Indian/Emerald Valley Motel. The Spruce Railroad Trail is within walking distance (approximately two miles), and Joyce Access Road is just the other side of Indian Creek. Easy access to Marymere Falls, Lake Crescent Lodge, Sol Duc Falls, Hurricane Ridge, the Coho ferry to Victoria, B.C., and many more within a 45 minute drive radius. With two queen beds the cabin sleeps 4 adults very comfortably. It has a full kitchen, including dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washer and dryer set contained in the bathroom. It is the perfect spot for anyone who loves the outdoors.
This cabin is cozy, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the entire region. Kitchen, propane grill, laundry make this place very convenient. The beds are very comfortable as well. This was my 2nd visit. Highly recommend.
Simple, cute, no frills, comfy cabin with all the basic necessities. Shockingly quiet for being so close to the 101. Propane grill for easy meals, soft beds to crash out on after a day of adventuring, kick ass heater to stay warm on a cold night. Bit of a pain in the ass to find on the first try, a small easy to spot reflective sign would be a quick fix for that. Oh, and bring a sharp knife if you plan on cutting anything to prep for food.
Our whole family loved this spot. Kids loved the welcome basket of snacks, grownups loved the washer and dryer :) Cozy cabin was perfect for landing spot for our jump from San Juan island, exploring Olympic park for a couple of days, and eventually Seattle. Coming from East Coast we were blown away by the nearby beauty.
We had a great two night stay at this cabin. It was rustic but we are cool with that. Highway 101 is pretty close, but that made it very convenient to the park. Road noise wasnât too bad. Cabin itself could use a little maintenance, but we were cozy, warm, and had plenty of room. Kitchen had everything we needed and we could walk to Grannyâs cafe for ice cream after dinner. The cafe has animals in the back so we had fun watching them.
Great stay. We had everything we needed and Linda was very responsive to our needs. If you are looking for a rustic cabin with no Internet or TV, then this is your place. It took a little adjusting for me to unplug but we are glad we did. Would love to come back sometime. Thanks
Cabin is bigger than the pictures show, plenty of room for family, dogs and on the road items. Love the little back porch for morning coffee and nature. Beautiful meadows for walking the dogs. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided. Great communication with the hosts including clear directions and how to get to the property.
Treated my partner to a nice little getaway. This little cabin was perfect as a jumping off point for hiking the Olympics! The cabin is well-appointed, ensuring a nice stay⊠thank you!
Great location on Olympic Penninsula for enjoying Crescent Lake, the North Coast & National Park. Quiet (except for the refrigerator!) and also walking distance to Granny's Cafe for good comfort food and ice cream. Brought board games for entertainment. No tv, no wireless but full kitchen and everything else you need.
We loved the privacy and drivability around Olympic National Park. The cabin was cute and comfortable. We even had deer visit us during one of the evenings.
Easy lock box. (I was worried about this, but it was the easiest cabin to get into that I've ever rented) Good communication with owner. Met cleaning person, very helpful, too.
You never know what you are going to get when you stay somewhere new, and we were pleasantly surprised. This cabin is so cute, more spacious than we were expecting for a studio style space, and so conveniently located that we were able to stop by and grab our lunches and dry clothes whenever we needed to without feeling like we were wasting time driving instead of enjoying our trip. It was just a perfect, simple cabin. Laundry and bathroom were both clean and well working. Space wasn't cluttered with knickknacks (if you have a little one and need to childproof, it wouldn't take you any time), and had everything we needed. The ONLY issue we ran into was that there are no bowls in the kitchen, so we got creative for cereal our first morning there.
We would absolutely stay here again!
We loved the location and that it was in a woodsy area.
It was quiet and very peaceful and
relaxing.
The washer and dryer were great as we stayed there a week and needed to do
Wash.
Thanks!!!!!

Even better than described. Quiet, comfortable, clean, hidden in the trees right near the highway so very easy to get wherever we were going. Linda was awesome, answered immediately when we had questions. We would gladly go back again and were so happy to stay there!
Cabin was exactly as shown. Worked well for our needs. Cozy cabin. Driveway was a little hard to find, passed it first time. Would've like better locks on back door. Not sure if it was neighbors or in the distance, but someone fired off a gun about 20 times. Liked everything but that.
This place was a dream come true. It was so cute, clean, and just plain wonderful. It has everything you need, and then some. The bed was super comfy too. Great area close to Port Angeles, yet secluded and close to many hiking trails. Highly recommend!!!
The inside of this cabin is just as lovely as the pictures posted for the listing. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows and blankets were provided if needed. The availability of a washer and dryer was nice to run a quick load near the end of our vacation. The cabin is stocked with fluffy towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, a few snacks, spices and oils. There is no TV as stated, nor is there a selection of books to read or board games to play. However that's not why we came to Olympic National Park.
It was lovely to look out the floor to ceiling windows in the morning as outside was even nicer and more private than expected. There are lots of wildflowers and no other residences in view. Even though this property is right off the 101 highway, we did not hear traffic noise. The cabin is located less than 30 minutes from the visitor's center entrance at Hurricane Ridge, the Marymere Falls trailhead and Spruce Railroad trailhead. (Do not miss walking the Spruce Railroad Trail trail to Devil's Punch Bowl on Lake Crescent. Jumping off the bridge and the cliff, swimming in the cool water and walking through the dark tunnel was one of the favorite parts of our trip.)
The location and cleanliness make this cabin an ideal place to stay. We would gladly return here for another visit to Port Angeles or Olympic National Park.
