Discover life on a rustic Norman estate! The setting is a 15th-century country estate with tower, manor house and outbuildings, set in 150 acres of land managed by friendly young owners. The country house, which was lovingly renovated, has a spacious terrace area and a small playground. A small rowing boat tour on the castle pond will inspire you. The beautiful beaches of the Contentin are just minutes away from this rural paradise. Activities nearby: There are many exciting impressions of country life here, both young and old - sheep, horses and all sorts of farm animals can be stroked. With a bit of luck, you might even witness the birth of a calf. Fresh eggs and other farm produce can be bought locally or at the local market. Worthwhile excursion destinations are the seaside resort of Barneville-Carteret (10 km) and the lively port of Granville. You should not miss a visit to the world-famous Mont St. Michel

Very nice holidays in nice and rural area .

Our childrens enjoyed the time . Everything was very authentic and the slightly medival and rustic environment was exiting for our younger kids. Our oldest daughter was concerned about the Wifi but did survive with the existing speed of it. The hosts are very warm and friendly and had even a surprise for the birthday of our middle daughter. The closest beach is a 7-8 minutes drive. WeÂŽve been there at the right time and did envoy the Denneville Oyster Festival with some nice wine and fantasic seafood! Very likley that we will come back again.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen, erholsamen Ferienaufenthalt auf dem alten Rittergut mit Landwirtschaft, das von einer sehr gastfreundlichen, hilfsbereiten Familie gefĂŒhrt wird. Es war wie Urlaub im Freilichtmuseum, das GelĂ€nde war inspirierend, die lĂ€ndliche Ruhe sehr entspannend. Wir alle, aber besonders die Kinder, haben den Kontakt zu den Tieren genossen. Ein besonderes Highlight fĂŒr die Kinder war die Möglichkeit mit dem Paddelboot auf dem Burgweiher zu fahren. Die Ferienwohnung ist, passend zum Gesamt-Setting, rustikal und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und eingerichtet, dennoch musste niemand auf die Annehmlichkeiten der modernen Technik verzichten. Es war gut funktionierendes WLAN vorhanden, was besonders fĂŒr die Kinder entscheidend ist.Auch fĂŒr Menschen, die gerne und anspruchsvoll kochen, waren alle benötigten Utensilien incl. PĂŒrierstab auf Lager. In wenigen Minuten ist Portbail sur mer mit dem Auto erreichbar und bietet sowohl Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie auch Kultur und wunderschöne Natur mit endlosen StrĂ€nden und malerischen DĂŒnen. Wir werden sehr gerne mit Familie und Freunden wiederkommen.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Wir hatten zu viert eine wunderbare Woche in der Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, fĂŒr alle Fragen ansprechbar. Die Tiere sowie das Ruderboot auf dem kleinen See haben uns und besonders den Kindern viel Freude bereitet. Man ist von dort sehr schnell an vielen wunderschönen und auch geschichtstrĂ€chtigen Orten. Vielen Dank fĂŒr die schöne Zeit!

Zauberhafte Unterbringung

Man wohnt auf dem GrundstĂŒck eines alten Herrenhauses, das der Besitzer selbst renoviert, außerdem betreibt er einen Bauernhof mit Tieren aller Art. Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen herzlichen Dank!
