It was a pleasant stay and relaxing. Its close to the beach but also on the end of a dead end street so there was minimal traffic.

Everything was top notch. Furnishings and appliances were top of the line. The location was really close to the beach and the porch seating was great. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location - Great Communication with Property Manager

Enjoyed our stay. A few hiccups upon arrival, but the property manager was great. The house was is a great location and in a very nice neighborhood. Would have stayed longer if we could.

Close enough

The location was great. Close to the beach. The hostess was quick to get back to us if we needed anything. However, there were several things that could use improvement. The BBQ grill is rusted and not in working condition. The house was not clean. We had to wash our sheets due to something being on the pillow case (it came off after washing). There was feces still on the toilet, and the shower had an orange grime like it needed a good cleaning. A lot of the dishes we used had old food stuck on them. We are very grateful for the hostess opening her home to us, but I would suggest a different cleaning crew.

Very Nice!

Very nice accommodations and deck has a great view. Also quiet because it's at the end of a dead end road. It's close to easy drive on beach access but also close enough to walk if you'd like. We saw where other areas were having trouble with cars getting stuck in soft sand but we had no trouble at all. We didn't watch TV but there was one in every room. We did use the wifi with no problems. The master bath is very large and has a great jacuzzi tub but no shower. There is a shower in the other bathroom and the outside shower downstairs is large and nice. The owner is very easy to communicate with and checking in and out was very easy.We had a great time.

Was able to get an earlier check in time, which was greatly appreciated. Check in was as instructed via email correspondence. Appliances and other accommodations were as described. Noticed the A/C unit wasn’t cooling as expected and upon inspection, found the filter was in dire need of replacing. Information was passed on the the host who advised it would be and thanked me for bringing it to her attention. The only surprise was the picture from Google Street View is dated. You no longer have a beach or ocean view due to newly constructed homes now built on the streets between. But it’s conveniently located for a short walk or cart ride to gain beach access.

Communication with owner is sketchy. A/C not working to potential, had to buy fan. Portable a/c in dining room, but does not work as well as the fan in house. Very nice place, close to water, clean, and having towels, hand soap, and toilet tissue was a plus!!! Let us check in early.

Great besides check in.

The property was amazing and so close to the ocean and was a short walk. Only downside was we were given no information on checking in and luckily ran into the cleaning lady on our way in or we would have had no way of accessing our key. Overall, great property but lacked a little bit of communication.

The house was lovely. Beautiful views from the large deck. Beds were comfortable. Outside shower downstairs and hose upstairs were great for rinsing off sand. Kitchen was well-stocked with pots and pans. Both showers were great but the master shower was absolutely amazing! I appreciated the odds and ends of shampoo, sunscreen, razors, tampons that I presume had been left behind by previous guests. Some of those items came in handy. The house was clean except the fridge which was sticky. Air conditioning worked well. Huge ceiling fan in living room was a nice touch, as were the deck chairs and glider. Quick, easy beach access. The cons: no kitchen towels at all. Nor was there a dish drainer. We dried pots and pans with napkins. Listing says there are bath towels and beach towels but there were a total of 5 bath/beach towels altogther and what was there were cheap and flimsy. Listing states garage for parking but there's no access to it. Listing says there are beach toys so we didn't bring any. The only one there were two inflatable rings that are very unsafe for ocean water. Closets and all dresser drawers are full of mismatched bed linens, a locked chest, wall art stacked in closet, a floor fan, etc. The kids bunks are actually in the master bathroom closet. No door between master bath and master bedroom so it was very awkward. No plastic or melamine dishes - all nice glass/ceramic/china. Only a negative if you have small kids. Less than a full roll of toilet paper total in the whole house. We barely made it overnight and into the first opportunity to shop. No handsoap. Tv remote had no battery. Other remote was too difficult to figure out. My husband is quite a techie and even he gave up. We never got it to work. Only one house key. My husband put it on his keychain. The next day we took the ferry to buy groceries and our vehicle broke down. We had to leave it in a repair shop overnight. On the ferry back to the house in our rental car, we realized the house key was still on his keychain back at the car repair shop. The owner kindly sent another key with housekeeping, which we greatly appreciated. But if there had been two keys, which is my experience at every other rental I've ever stayed at, we wouldn't have been locked out. Summary, this is a lovely home with great beach access. However, there were many small things that added up to quite a detriment to a relaxing stay. The takeaway is: read the reviews thoroughly so you can be prepared.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and in a good location. We did have a hard time figuring out how the shower controls worked, but eventually managed it. We would recommend this property.

Had a wonderful time over the weekend at this beautiful beach house. Super quick walk to the beach. Bathrooms were perfect. Kitchen has anything you could think of. Could've used more toilet paper but otherwise the most perfect property.

Nice, but a few things could be better

Overall a nice place to stay. If i had a few suggestions to make; they would be, place a few towel holders in the master bathroom and clean out the master bedroom closets and dressers so that guests have a place put there clothing items away for the stay. Although the master bed was comfortable, placing it on a frame and getting it off the floor would be a nice upgrade. For the price and location though i would stay here again.

Great location

Over all it was a great experience. They need to hire a better cleaning crew to scrub the master bath shower floor. The house was clean for the most part. The location was great. You may want to bring your own grill, fire pit and outdoor seating. The owner was nice and responsive.
