Charming place for a small family!



The Space:

Enjoy a beautiful beach view from this adorable 2 bedroom house. You can sit in the living room and gaze at an unobstructed view of the water. The furnished wraparound deck is a great place to enjoy the sunrise while you drink your coffee, or read a book while you feel the afternoon gulf breeze. With its cheerful decor and many windows with beach views, you will love the bright airy feeling of the home.



The living area offers comfortable seating and a TV with DVD player. Prepare your meals in the well-furnished kitchen, featuring a microwave, dishwasher, regular drip coffee pot, and all the cookware you need. The cute dining table is great for meals or games!

With over 1000 square feet, Surf Shak easily sleeps 8. Both bedrooms have king size beds, and the two queen sleeper sofas provide additional sleeping. This house is perfect for a small family. There is even a washer and dryer on the premises for your convenience as well as high speed internet.



Downstairs, you’ll enjoy cooking meals on the charcoal grill while sitting around the table visiting with family and friends.

The beach is just a short walk from the house when you use the private subdivision walkover. There is also an outdoor sand shower; convenient for rinsing off a day at the beach before you enjoy the house itself.



Two small dogs (up to 20 lbs) allowed with pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

We picked this vacation home specifically because it had access to a swimming pool. But only after checking in and calling the management company did we find out the neighborhood pool is only available to homeowners, not vacation renters. Disappointing and misleading.

Beach weekend

Very cute quiet and view is amazing for not being on the beach! When we arrived the floors were very dirty and dead bugs on the floors. But when I called they had someone over within 10 mins! I wish they would wash and give you the bath mats how they do the towels and sheets bc they were also very dirty at arrival. They do have a washer and dryer so that was nice! Blinds in the bathroom bc the ppl across the field can see you! You do have to pick up and drop off the key which is kinda annoying. They should have code lock and they also need a good deep cleaning!

Overall great experience

Overall good experience. My wife and I plus our two teenage kids. Just a couple of glitches: when we arrived, we found articles of clothing laying on the deck and on the slab downstairs. Found a roach in one of the bathrooms. We used the linen service which was good but we needed more than one dish towel for the week. Pool was very cold but that’s probably no one’s fault, it’s March/early April. That being said, We still would definitely do this again. FYI for future, the area was half shut down. We were told that we were a scooch early. Busy season hadn’t quite started yet. A lot of places were closed.

Great location! Walking distance to the beach and great views from the deck. House had everything we needed to cook, grill, do laundry. Only a couple miles to the store and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful and clean place sleeping up to 8.

Kitchen fully equipped making us wish we had left a few items behind at home. Plenty of space. Clean. Wonderful patio. Close to beach. A golf cart ride to fishing on the bay. Dogs welcome. Loved it.

Super cute little beach house. Fully stocked kitchen. They do have 2 pullout couches in living room. Bring your own bedding and towels & toiletries. Other than that, this place is perfect for a small family or group gathering.

We loved the house and view. We were unhappy that the temperature inside the cabin was at 99 degrees

The staff at Swedes did eventually send an air conditioner person out after asking me to check breakers and other items. We lost most of the first day of the cabin due to lack of air conditioning. When I asked why this was not checked and set on our arrival date, the Swede’s representative stated that “there were only 4 of them and they had 250 units.” This was a very poor response to a customer. The television was off satellite and the rep had no answer. Fortunately the ac guy fixed this. Probably need to review customer service training.

It was a comfy home and decorated so cute! The view was amazing! The big deck was great and walking distance from beach made it so much easier ecspecially with little ones. Would definitely stay here again!
