Welcome to Stump Pass Place on Manasota Key. A perfect mix of comfort, nature and unmatched amenities. Just a 3 minute walk to our neighborhood beach or a just 4 minute walk to Stump Pass State Park at the end of our street. Here you can go to the beach, launch the water toys, and making lifelong memories. Stump Pass State Park has one of the most beautiful pristine beaches in all of Florida!

Located on the southern tip of Manasota Key, we enjoy offering couples and family's a wonderful value added vacation and a great guest experience as well. Make sure to take full advantage of our FREE Kayaks, Sups, beach cruiser bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers and much more!

NO ferries or water taxi needed. Just drive over the bridge to our island and enjoy your freedom and spontaneity.

Lush tropical landscaping will lead you to your suite. Enter the open floor plan, living room, dining area and fully stocked kitchen. Cook, dine, or relax in your own back yard patio. This area is truly a tropical paradise complete with Weber grill, commercial grade outdoor table, chairs, chaise lounges, lush landscaping and soft night lighting. Don't forget to experience showering in our custom made outdoor showers. There's just nothing like showering outside under they blue sky and tropical palm trees.

The wildlife here is amazing! You will see pelicans diving for fish, osprey in tree tops, and herons on the beach. Dolphins and manatee are always swimming the shoreline and sea turtles choose this paradise to lay their eggs. Don't forget to bring your camera! Also make sure to look down in the sand. Prehistoric shark teeth and beautiful shells are never hard to find and are abundant on the beaches of the Key. Go shelling then return home to rinse your souvenirs in our custom made Shell Cleaning Station.

Bring your friends and family! There are four other individual suites on site and two other duplexes right next door "The Highview" and "The Pool House".

Our community pool is located just ten minutes from the house inside the Ann & Chuck Dever Regional park, 7001 San Casa Dr Englewood34223. Phone number 941-683-3743. The cost is $3 a day per person. For a pool on site see our VRBO listing numbers 2115647, 2117585 and 2116971.

Remember, bikes, kayaks, Stand up paddle boards and so much more are located on site and included with your rental! No additional fees or charges! Have fun on us!

The communications prior to arrival was excellent. We had unit 2 which looked as if we were the 1st to ever stay in it. Everything was spotless and unit was well equipped. The proximity to Stump Pass was a short walk for us loaded down in the beach wagon with everything else they provided. Wagons, bikes, kayaks, beachchairs, coolers and paddleboards were all there for our use. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who enjoys quite and Stump Pass.

Nice place & great communication.

Super clean, cozy place with nice outdoor space for each unit in the buliding. Owners were fantastic at communicating starting well before my arrival. Met owners and they were super kind and friendly. Would rent again.

Peter was an excellent host! The property which we initially booked sustained hurricane damage, so Peter upgraded us to a nicer, larger apartment on the 2nd floor of the Highview for the same price. The amenities (bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, etc.) are fantastic and the apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had an amazing view. We'll definitely come back!

Cute with good amenities

The suite was great for 2 adults. The bathroom was a little tight as the door had to be closed to use the commode and the bathroom sink was small. I didn't like the window unit air conditioners. The bedroom one would blow right on you in the bed. The back porch was very nice. To access the beach you had to walk about 4 blocks so I would have liked to be closer to the beach. Great to have bikes, stand up paddle boards, chairs, and kayaks available which were included.

We enjoyed our stay, close to Stump Park and the beach. The on site “toy box” was a hit: we used a wagon, chairs, shell basket, and life vest. We rode the bikes to get coffee one morning and they worked great. We cooked all our meals in the vrbo and everything we needed was available. We also used the grill on the back patio. The keurig coffee maker was fine and we ended up buying a reusable k cup pod because we drink a lot of coffee. Honestly, no complaints and only good times. For feedback, having a usb charging port is the only thing that we could have used but only because we only brought one for all our devices. Thanks for all the good memories!

Great property.

This was our 3rd time renting at Stumps Pass Place and enjoyed as much as previous visits. We stayed in Suite 2 and the layout and amenities were perfect. The one negative with Suite 2 it only has outside space at the rear and the noise from the AC units does not really suit for a quiet evening drink. The other downstairs unit have seating outside where you can enjoy a sit outside. A small negative to an otherwise perfect stay

Peaceful and perfect

We were coming to get away from people, life, the hustle and grind and wow did this place give us that. We were the only ones there our entire stay so it was very peaceful. Come to think of it the entire island was very quiet which we really loved. Everything was perfect, impeccable and clean. Quality everything right down to the beach chairs and umbrellas. Location was amazing! Close to Stump Pass, Englewood Beach, Dearborn, we just loved it so much and hated to leave. Beautiful resort and I loved the complimentary canvas beach bag that was left. Thank you!

Fantastic weeklong adventure!

From reservation to checkout, the process with this manager was easy! Home was cozy and clean with every comfort we needed for the week. In our opinion, the best part of this property was all the toys!! We paddleboarded, kayaked, snorkeled, biked, shelled, sunbathed and enjoyed the beach with chairs and umbrellas - all right there at the house to use. Saved us a bunch of money from rentals - and both the bay and the beach were a quick walk away. Loved our second visit to the same property and look forward to visiting again! Jennie

Great location for families

First time staying and it was great. It was a bit loud and rowdy as the family beside us had 4 kids who used the showers outside our room as the kids shower. Great amenities and clean and quiet. Best sleep thanks to the window air units. Would have liked to have more towels and amenities like toiletries/sunscreens like we have had at other places. The shell and toe clean station was a great bonus addition! Overall good stay! Thanks!

We loved our stay! The property was clean and quiet. We enjoyed using the free bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. Having the beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, coolers and towel was amazing! We will definitely return.

Great place to stay in a spectacular area

It's a very clean place, nicely decorated, with all the kitchen equipment you could need. We enjoyed the private patio out back, with beautiful plants and many visiting birds. We used all the available equipment, including the kayaks and bikes and were very happy with the quality of everything. The whole area is just beautiful. We loved being so close to the park's gorgeous beach. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Vacation Oasis

My room was large, clean and comfortable. The back patio was spacious and well equiped. The property manager was responsive in helping me to get back into my room when I was locked out. However, if you think this location has a pool as listed in the amenities, they don’t. Look at the very tiny print below the photo of said pool. It is a community pool approximately 10 minutes away and there are no directions as to where it is or how to access it. Very disappointing especially since the beach was virtually inaccessible due to the red tide.

Lovely retreat

We loved our time in Stump Pass! The unit was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen appliances suited our needs. The patio was quiet and mostly (there were workers on adjoining homes repairing storm damage.These owners had not control over that) private. The bed was comfortable and storage space fit our needs. My only sort-of negative was the bathroom. The sink is small and provided little counter space. I’m also glad that we are small people. The toilet is tucked into a corner that might be difficult for larger people. Oh yes. Open the front closet wide to find the beach and additional bath towels. The “toy box” was such a great joy! So many choices of toys and beach accoutrements! We would love to come back

Stump Pass

Great short escape from winter. Perfect place for us. Close to beach and Stump Pass park. Used the bikes and the kayaks. Wish could have stayed longer.
