My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had a great time! Very nice home, awesome character and my wife really loved the decor! I loved the fireplace and just how comfortable the home was! Will definitely stay again! Thank you for everything!
We enjoyed our recent stay at Gwendolyn's property. It was as described in the listing. It was conveniently located to explore all of the little local towns surrounding the area. One thing to note if you plan on staying, there is no sink in the "kitchenette" area. We rinsed our cups out in the bathroom sink (upstairs) but there is no place to properly wash. The "kitchenette" is just a mini fridge, coffee pot, and microwave as stated in the listing. I made an assumption that there would be a sink (my bad). We brought breakfast food but were not able to fix it because there are also no utensils. If you plan to eat or reheat food in the microwave, just be aware that there are no plates, bowls, forks, spoons, etc.
Nice cozy place with a working gas fireplace. Bed was very firm. I think it was a memory foam construction. That suited me just fine. Working with Gwendolyn was fantastic. Hope to be back again
Other than train noise which we were warned about a good stay. Very nice historic area of upper chesapeake. Cecil county history is fascinatingmy family emigrated here in late 1600s so I truly enjoyed my stay.
Perfect..we were sitting relaxed with the fireplace on. We all agreed this felt like home. A family memory that will last a lifetime. Thank you Gwendolyn đ đ
Very comfortable stay within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and a coffee shop. Wonderful front porch especially early morning porch sitting with coffee.
We had everything needed for pleasant stay.
