Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet
Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet
Second Floor:
Bedroom 3: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Single (3ft) Bed
Bedroom 4: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Log burner (logs and coal are available locally). Small front patio garden with picnic table. Private parking for 1 car; additional public car park 500 yards away (prices vary depending on season). No smoking property.. This spacious, detached, dog-friendly holiday home is set over three floors with three bathrooms, and has a lovely hand-built kitchen with dresser and large dining table. The living room with the woodburner gives way to a games room for the children with a playstation console and various board games. Set in a privileged position in the heart of this fishing village, made famous by the TV series Doc Martin, you are just 200 yards from an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, and the coastal path which passes close to the property. From here you can take in the breathtaking views across the Atlantic Ocean and walk north towards Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, or south towards Polzeath, with its sandy surfing beach. Rock is a 5 mile drive from Post Isaac, where you can enjoy the many watersports on offer. You can walk or cycle along the Camel Trail, a disused railway line that follows the Camel Estuary to the market town of Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin. You can also take a ferry from Rock to Padstow, where you will find many shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Steinâs fish restaurant. This holiday cottage is ideally situated to visit the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer including The Eden Project, a zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium at Newquay, as well as many gardens and NT properties close by. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
Please note: Due to the age of the property (late Georgian/early Victorian), there are steep and narrow stairs going up to the first and second floors, and no downstairs toilet.
Free WiFi
There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property.

We had a fantastic holiday, this is a very comfy and well-equipped cottage in a great location. There was lots of room for everyone, and the children loved the big attic bedrooms. The kitchen/dining room worked very well for family meals, and the woodburner in the living room made it very cosy.
Ideal foot access to both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne beaches too. A really lovely holiday location.

We had a lovely weeks stay here, the house itself had plenty of room for us all to stay (there were 4 adults, 3 children, 1 baby and 1 dog).
The location was brilliant, literally on the hill leading down to the port. There were plenty of things for us to do and to keep the children entertained.
We went in April and were lucky enough to watch some of the filming of Doc Martin and meet a couple of the stars.
Would definitely come back to Port Isaac as itâs such a beautiful, clean and friendly place.

A lovely spacious and superbly located holiday cottage.
A lovely spacious and superbly located holiday cottage. Unfortunately it was very windy during our stay and the sash windows rattled and were draughty, but that was a price worth paying for somewhere with character! Would definitely stay at Hillside again.
