Located in the family-friendly Barefoot Cottages community, guests will enjoy nature trails to walk and bike around, an outdoor grilling area, and the soft white sand of Windmark Beach just one mile away. Popular daytime activities nearby include snorkeling, swimming, and boating in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as golfing and horseback riding on dry land.

The home itself offers plenty of comfortable furniture, a flatscreen cable TV and WiFi for entertainment, and a screened-in porch. There's a dining table with seats for six and a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, all the essentials, and a breakfast bar for additional seating.

Port St. Joe is a place of relaxation and revitalization. Charter a fishing boat and go trolling for king mackerel and red snapper, or spend the day searching for shells on the soft Gulf sands. Take a horseback ride on the beach, or a tranquil stroll on nature trails just beyond the home's porch. The cottage was extremely clean, provided basic necessities. Good to bring own coffee filters, salt, pepper, etc. Mattresses are very comfortable. We could not hear any noise from the pool.

Amazing Cottage -but lots of noise and partying

Cottage was clean, modern, and plenty of space for 3 people. Kitchen had plenty of cookware, utensils and coffee maker is very nice. This cottage faces the community pool, so be aware there will be LOTS of noise. Lots of loud music and unsupervised minors ALL night at the pool all 4 nights of our stay. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 for this reason. K

Absolutely perfect!

My stay at Barefoot Cottages was perfect from the time I got there and until I left! I came with a couple of friends to relax one last time for the summer and I was amazed. Barefoot Cottages was a nice, quiet and more family oriented location that was very clean and well kept. I loved that the pool was right outside our cottage which was great for cooling down. The beach access was about a 2 minute drive and the beach was not crowded and was very peaceful. We appreciated the calmness of Port St Joe compared to areas like PCB because it was ideal for a relaxing vacation. We had no communication issues and the owner was very kind and helpful when we were communicating. I will definitely be returning to Barefoot Cottages next year and I am recommending it to all my friends and family!!!!

This place was fantastic! The only reason for 4 stars is that the mattresses were too uncomfortable and the one in the master bedroom makes noises every time you turn over. We would stay again regardless. Wonderful little community and Port St. Joe was a very nice town to visit. Can't wait to return.

Attractive, Comfortable and Convenient.

This is a nice stand-alone unit in a gated, cluster type development between Port St. Joe and St. Joe Beach. It is convenient to restaurants, area activities and is a good exploration base. Although the unit is not new and shows a little bit of wear, it is attractive, comfortable and well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to others.

A fun relaxing time

We had a relaxing week here. The home was clean. It was nice to have the pool just a few steps from the front door. We enjoyed slow mornings on the front porch. An excellent time in Port St. Joe!

Ok stay, b32 needs some updates

The property in general was nice, as far as a facility. Cottage b32 had a few issues. Neither of the bedroom ceiling lights were operable. The bar stools were all very wobbly and would sway a few inches either way and felt they would break at any moment. The tile on the face of the bar is missing and exposed thinset resulted in one guest cutting themselves. It would have also been really nice to have more than 2 trashbags a and a coffee filter to go with the coffee maker.

The property was clean and just as pictured .Short drive to the beach and lots of good restaurants.We had a minor electrical issue that was taken care of quickly great staff. Our only issue was the pool and hot tub closed before dark and we like to swim after diner kids were disappointed.

A welcome retreat

Property was in a great location, just minutes from the beach or places to eat. When the beach got too hot, the pool was just outside our front door. Neighbors were quiet and the neighborhood well maintained.

Perfect little beach cottage

We had the best week in Port St Joe in this cottage! The whole community is super nice. We loved the screened in porches and serene atmosphere. Overall super happy with how nice it was and we will definitely be back!
