2 bedroom duplex unit (sleeps 4), which can also be booked with Unit 2 (sleeps another 5 - which is wheelchair accessible)

Prime location - only 100m to Shoal Bay beach, cafes and shopfront
Suitable for families, couples or groups - including our 4 legged ones friends in our secure gated garden!
Off street parking for one vehicle (sorry no trailers or boats)
Total internal area 46 square metres (excluding covered deck 6m x 3m)
Bedroom 1 : Queen bed, pedestal fan, electric blanket, radiator
Bedroom 2 : 2 single beds, pedestal fan, electric blankets, radiator
Large outside covered living and dining deck area (6m x 3m)
Doggie friendly for trained pooches, and close to leash free beaches too!
Up to 2 small dogs allowed, but only one large dog allowed. If in doubt please send us an enquiry. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG WHEN YOU BOOK.

Shoal Bay Retreat is a duplex house of 2 x 2 bedroom units. This Unit 1 sleeps 4 guests and see listing for Unit 2 (sleeps 5) if you have a larger group of up to 9. (If you have problems finding and booking Unit 2 and Unit 1 together - please send us a message for us to assist).

Being so close to the beach its the ideal place to park your car and walk to the beach and activities. At night Shoal Bay beachfront is alive with great restaurants and pubs to choose a few minutes walk away.

Or rent bikes - or even a tandem! - only 70m away to explore a network of dedicated bike paths from Fingal to Nelson Bay and beyond...

Shoal Bay Retreat offers a great combination of prime location, comfort and value. And you can bring your well behaved doggie along too.

This property is centrally located close to shops, the beach, restaurants and a club. It is comfortable, has everything that you need for a short or long stay, is surrounded by great walks, close to bus stops, and has a cosy outdoor undercover deck. It is clean and well maintained and has a good-sized grassed area for dogs.

We loved our stay at Shoal Bay retreat. Just what we needed for a long weekend away. Walking distance to everything you need. The outdoor shower hose was perfect to get rid of all the sand on us and our dog. We enjoyed the outdoor porch and the cosiness of our accommodation. We hope to return again soon

We always stay here with our Mazie dog. Comfortable close to everything. Excellent communication with hosts. Always a relaxing visit.Pet friendly is the way to go and rare close to all restaurants etc but don’t tell anyone 
.As long as you respect the property it’s the place to stay.

Great location

Good place, great location. Fantastic for our family of fours and small dog. Bit noisy at night and a few minor things could be improved eg though kids bed not so comfy. Overall though very good and would recommend.

The unit was very convenient to the beach. There was a sunny outside verandah for sitting and relaxing. The indoor living and dining area was very small for the price that was paid. Bathroom grout needed a good scrub and there was no bathmat. Otherwise the unit was clean.

Perfect Location!!!
