PENINA GOLF course:
The first 18-hole course to be built in the Algarve, the Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course has played home to the Portuguese Open on ten occasions ... and is considered by many to be the finest course in the Algarve and beyond.
Built and laid out by the three-time British Open Champion, Sir Henry Cotton, the course is challenging as it is satisfying ... and the unforgiving as it is beautiful.
Flanked by streams, water hazards and precarious ditches, the course boasts an array of subtle slopes and raised greens ... well known for catching out even the most careful of golfers.
The Par 73 course, is playable the whole year round and is currently taking bookings for this and next season.

PALMARES GOLF COURSE:

Palmares Golf - links and parkland in a spectacular seaside setting.
This exceptional American golf course was designed to craft a 27-hole golf course that maximized the potential of its extraordinary environment. The result is a golf course of breathtaking natural beauty which is a delight to play. The course opened 18 holes for play in October 2010 and the full 27 last June 2011 and it has matured nicely.
Palmares Golf is composed of three returning nine-hole loops that can be played in any sequence. The genius in the routing is that, depending on the sequence of play, each golf experience is different. Each nine-hole loop - Alvor, Lagos and Praia - has its own character and ambiance.
