Location was great. Peaceful just outside of town. Owner was great. Great recommendations and very responsive. We did have an issue with the renter below frequently smoking pot. Our unit smelled of it when we arrived and the deck was unusable a few times when he was smoking below. It’s legal, just a bit disruptive for those that don’t smoke.

Beautiful relaxing Space

Nancy and I enjoyed our time in this lovely apartment in Freeport. The view was just stunning and the sunrise this morning made it hard to leave. Bill could not be more accommodating and kind. He was very attentive and so many thoughtful things in the apartment make is spit a home away from home. Thank you Bill for a lovely stay. We look forward to returning.

Lovely visit to Freeport

Pleasant stay with my husband and our infant. Weather was gorgeous and so was the view. Owner provided lots of information including a list of restaurants, things to do, and detailed instructions on how to work the tv, etc. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

Location, Location, Location


The host has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Freeport, ME is the perfect location to take day trips up the coast, or exploring the Old Port & restaurant scene in Portland, ME. While I was there, they were celebrating their Oyster Festival & the shopping is amazing.

This apartment is as described, however the view is breathtaking. The sun through the trees in the morning and the evening sun reflecting on the mud flats are equally beautiful. The owner leaves detailed instructions and is available if needed. I highly recommend this rental.

Home Away From Home

If you want a vacation rental that feels like a second home, you've come to the right place! Everything you need for your stay is provided. The view is beautiful! The location is peaceful and close to many of the things people come to Maine to enjoy. The homeowner, Bill, is a gracious host who lives in the connected house. Renters are left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet of this location!

Better then the listing

Bill’s property was outstanding. From the water views to making s’mores in the fire pit to the pool we couldn’t keep our five year old out of. The one bedroom apartment met all of our needs and more. The apartment was also central to all of our activities both in Freeport and traveling in the area. Bill took the time to put together a list of places in the area visitors may like and we enjoyed them very much. Bill lives on site and was very gracious to us. We hope to be back in the future.

Great central location if you want to do day trips up and down the coast of Maine. Nice little place equipped with everything you need. Beautiful view of bay. Swimming pool was nice to relax in after traveling all day. Only complaint is I did have to wash the floor as I have an infant that crawls, and needs a vent in bathroom for moisture. Not really complaints as everything else was great. Just little things I noticed.

Spring getaway to Maine

Bills place was perfect for our stay. The location was peaceful and quiet yet within driving distance to the city. Bill was very kind and helpful with everything. We spent 7 days driving up and down the coast of Maine and this place was the perfect spot for our " base camp".

You will not be disappointed, perfect for two adults and maybe one two kids at most. The pictures are very accurate and up to date. Lovely view from the deck, you can watch the cove tidal waters rise and fall. The location is perfect to getting up and down the coast, and Freeport, ME is very close!

We can’t say enough about our stay here at Harraseeket Riverview. Bill is so kind and accommodating. The apartment is so warm and welcoming, beautiful views greet you every morning. Clean as a whistle. 20 minutes from downtown Maine and close to everything we needed. Well appointed kitchen and pretty hardwood floors throughout! It.s just lovely!

So relaxing and peaceful. The view is just gorgeous. The apartment is connected to the owner’s home, and for a single female traveling alone, it felt very safe. The bed is very good and linens are very clean. It felt like my home. Everything was here that I needed but food. So close to everything. Try the Harraseeket on the water for great seafood. I’m a business owner and I take short breaks from work for my sanity....this is the best yet. I could literally feel my blood pressure lowering. I will definitely be back!

Great property! Great property manager/owner! Great location! Our first trip to Maine couldn't have started as my better. Property was fully stocked with everything you need. Beautiful inside - tastefully decorated, comfortable furnishings and a beautiful view to wake up to every morning. And Beautiful outside...inground pool, waterviews, fall foliage and temps in 80's. What a treat! Bill, the owner couldn't have been nicer and his recommendations for great places to eat and visit, were spot on. Like I said, Great! Great and Great!
