L'appartement est trĂšs bien situĂ©.PrĂšs des transport en commun et du centre-ville. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueilli en personne. L'hĂŽte est restĂ© en contact avec nous chaque jour pour s'assurer que tout se passait bien et nous a suggĂ©rer des endroits selon nos intĂ©rĂȘts. L'appartement Ă©tait propre et comportait plein de commoditĂ©. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour 13-16 oct 2025 et nous n'hĂ©siterions pas Ă  y revenir.

Comme à l’hîtel ou presque!

TrĂšs bel appartement en plein centre de Porto et Ă  deux pas de la gare.Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© l'accueil de Nira et ses bons conseils.Appartement moderne et luxueux. Si le temps avait Ă©tĂ© un peu ensoleillĂ© s’aurait Ă©tĂ© parfait mais l’appartement n’y Ă©tait pour rien.

3 jours magnifiques Ă  Porto

Bonjour, Lors de mon sĂ©jour Ă  Porto j’ai vraiment apprĂ©ciĂ© l’emplacement de l’appartement, nous Ă©tions au cƓur de la ville. Mais malheureusement lorsque j’ai louĂ© l’appartement c’était pour la lumiĂšre qui rentrait, selon les photos naturellement. J’ai Ă©tĂ© grandement déçu de rĂ©aliser qu’il y avait 4 fenĂȘtres brisĂ©es il serait important de procĂ©der Ă  la rĂ©paration des fenĂȘtres afin de faire rentrer la lumiĂšre du jour. De plus, le contour de la douche semble avoir un grand besoin de rĂ©paration car il y a des champignons causĂ©s par l’humiditĂ©. Également, un simple grille-pain pour nos dĂ©jeuners aurait Ă©tĂ© apprĂ©ciĂ©. MalgrĂ© mes points nĂ©gatifs c’est un bel appartement vraiment trĂšs bien situĂ© si vous dĂ©sirez ĂȘtre au cƓur de Porto.

Tout était bien sauf la laveuse qui ne fonctionnait pas. On a manqué d'eau chaude lors de notre départ mais ça dépendait de travaux extérieurs et non du propriétaire. A recommander absolument.

The apartment itself was great. It is well located and spacious, with comfortable beds and sofas for lounging. I would not consider this host to be welcoming. Unlike every other house or flat we have ever rented, either in Europe or the US, this one did not include any sort of information booklet. I had to ask - and then wait - for the wifi password and operating instructions for the dishwasher, oven, microwave or stovetop. Neither bathroom was equipped with shelves or other flat surfaces to store toiletries, nor, in the showers, was there anywhere but the wet, slippery floor to put soap or containers of shampoo, etc. There was an electrical failure on our first evening. This was not their fault, but what WAS their fault was the slow response to our queries about the nature of the problem and when it was likely to be fixed. Even a “we are working on it and will get back to you” took badgering on our part. Lastly, the fire extinguisher and fire blanket were placed in cabinets with no signage. It’s a great apartment in a wonderful city, but the host’s communication left a lot to be desired.

The property is centrally located, and the apartment is clean and comfortable. The street where the apartment was undergoing construction, so it was very noisy. Luckily our reservations were Friday through Monday and there was no work on Saturday and Sunday, otherwise it would have been a disaster. We would have appreciated being told in advance about the construction and given the choice to either change the location or cancel. It's just consideration for the guest since aside from the noise, it was messy also walking around the construction site.

Great location near Sao Bento metro and train station, kind and friendly host. Lots of construction noise all day from new subway line and one night a crew started on a nearby balcony grinding at midnight. The apartment needed new paint and furniture, I’d describe it as gritty. It would be helpful to have more than one kitchen towel or some paper towels. I’d stay again! I love Porto!

A nice place to stay in Porto, but could use some very minor updates.

We stayed in the Cardosas Boutique Apartment at the beginning of May 2025. It is in a convenient central location in the historic area, so also comes with late-night disturbance and car & lorry noise echoing up from the narrow street. We were met by Nuria who showed us to the apartment and gave us some tourist tips and advice.The apartment is served by a lift into a small lobby, where we found a set of spare keys loose in the cupboard next to the front door. As much as Portugal is considered a safe country, this was really bad form as our passports and valuables were in the apartment all day.The apartment itself is a good size - the living space is more generous than the bedrooms - but there's been a lot of wear and tear and small changes since the photos were taken, so this is not a "luxury" apartment as the listing claims. Both lamps in the living room flickered like they were not electrically safe and the smaller shower room had no place to hang a towel anywhere. There was also nowhere to hang a towel in the twin room (adjacent to the shower room), so we ended up using the slightly broken clothes airer in the kitchen to hang our towels. The shower cubicle is an awkward design so as other reviews have said, spare bath mats or towels should be left to help keep the floor dry.From older reviews: both toilets did flush, the floors were clean, and the water temperature was stable.A nice place to stay in Porto, but could use some very minor updates.

Great Location!

A spacious apartment located on the third floor (American) with elevator. Roomy living-dining area to relax in the evening. The highlight is the apartment’s location in the heart of the Ribeira area, yet relatively quiet. Management (Andre) was very helpful in arranging transportation from the train station. The lowlight was the unreliable water pressure (wildly ranging hot and cold) and a nonworking toilet in the small bathroom (had to use a bucket of water to flush).

Great location

Great location. We stayed five days. We could have used more towels as we had to use a couple to mop up the leaking shower. The water pressure is great but only use a trickle or the sink will take forever to drain. The water temperature went from hot to cold every couple of minutes. There was a washer, no dryer, so it took forever to dry a load so be aware. The toilet in one bathroom didn’t work properly and the water kept running. There was a dishwasher but no detergent so we just hand washed. The previous renters apparently broke two lamps so we did not use those. There is parking close by. The location was perfect. And Nuria, our contact tried her best to help with the plumbing issue and gave great Tour recommendations. I would give higher rating except the toilet issue was stressful.

Beautiful Apartment in Great Neighborhood

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Very sunny, lots of space to relax, eat and sleep. The property manager was very responsive. Contacted us the day before our stay to coordinate check in, met us on site and showed us around the apartment, gave us ideas of places to go and even looked into finding a place for some friends who needed a quick rental. The location was perfect. Near the train station and so many sites and restaurants. The only thing that didn't give it a 5 all around was the floors were dirty. Our socks were black after walking around the house. Everything else was clean and the beds were comfy.

Posizione favolosa, condizione dell'appartamento miglirabile

La casa Ăš esattamente come nelle foto, spaziosa e molto luminosa, in una posizione perfetta per visitare a piedi la cittĂ . I letti sono comodi e si puĂČ dormire benissimo. Nuria Ăš sempre stata gentile, disponibile e veloce nella comunicazione. I punti deboli sono la manutenzione dell'appartamento, in particolare i bagni: il bidet non Ăš collegato all'acqua, molte cose sono rotte o rovinate, la biancheria del letto aveva molte macchie, alcuni asciugamani erano consumati e strappati. La cittĂ  di Porto Ăš bellissima ma anche molto turistica, quindi bisogna fare attenzione a scegliere i ristoranti meno battuti, dove si mangia malissinmo a prezzi molto cari. Se dovete pianificare un viaggio in questa citttĂ , consiglio di evitare i giorni di Natale, perchĂš Ăš tutto, ma proprio tutto chiuso.
