It was in a great spot and had a wonderful view. You just have to go up a lot of steps to get to your room and that view. There is a wonderful tapas / Wine bar next door called the wine box, that I recommend especially if your vegetarian.

Absolutely loved it! We got there in the afternoon so we checked in at the cafe, the staff were so lovely! The lemon cake was delicious! We got in to our room and I was blown away, I loved the look of the stone walls and the huge windows with the shutters. We had a little kitchenette which was great for making some light meals and a nice fridge for storing snacks. It got a little loud in the evening on the streets, but once I fell asleep that was no problem! Will definitely be staying here again!

Best location while in Porto, 4 min to the riverside. Great staff and easy to deal with and informative as well. There is no elevator but we were booked on the first floor (actually 2nd floor)

One big plus is that it is in a very central location and very close to the seaside. I think the pictures are a bit misleading as it is located on a VERY busy road and you can basically hear all the traffic all the time when you are in your room due to very poor insulation. The room itself is cute though and there is a nice cafe in the builiding.

The room had a terrible smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. We went downstairs to talk to the host. They said they would fix it, but it was never fixed. We had to deal with basically sewer smell in our unit the entire time we were there. Extremely disappointed. Otherwise, the location was perfect and the property wasn't bad.

We only stayed in the hotel for one night (Friday). The hotel itself was great, however we hardly slept due to the constant traffic passing by the hotel going into and out of the tunnel, with frequent horn blowing by cars and motorbikes with loud exhausts frequently passing through. Also at 06:15 there was a terrible noise which was possibly a street cleaner with a generator cleaning the pavements!
