The staff was friendly, courteous & helpful throughout our stay. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. Our double superior room with a balcony was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The balcony was large, but the view could’ve been better. The placement of the glass shower within the room’s living space, rather than the bathroom, was somewhat odd to us and could be uncomfortable depending upon one’s travel companion and the lack of privacy, but we got used to it. The location of the hotel was great! Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay at one of the Wine & Books properties again based upon our recent experience.

The loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff were outstanding from Anna who checked us in and escorted us to our beautiful room to Camilla who checked us out and emailed me about their fabulous bedding. Little touches like the chocolates in your room and location of the hotel turned a great stay into a phenomenal stay.

Everything was wonderful from checking in, port upon arrival, the room was very clean but the carpet is white and had lots of stains. Needs updated. Breakfast was fabulous. All staff in there were so nice and accommodating. We did have drinks a couple of times at the rooftop bar and did eat there once. Gorgeous view from there. The staff were excellent but slow at times. It was busy so maybe need more staff up there. It is very centrally located to everything. Would definetly stay again.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, well appointed and in a great location. The staff is very good and helpful - they spent some time taking us to the room and explaining all of the automated features in the room. That said, we couldn't get over the design of the room with clear glass shower facing the beds and the non-opaque glass door on the toilet room. There is NO privacy. When one person used the bathroom in the middle of the night, the only option is to turn on a light, waking the other person and then they are sitting in an illuminated room, using the toilet. The rooms are small and I understand the need to fit things into the space, but they could have perhaps used frosted glass on the shower and a solid door on the toilet room. Not everyone is traveling with a person with which they are all that intimate. The spa is nice and I used the steam room but was surprised that they had no shampoo or other products for the showers.

The Hotel was excellent. Staff was super helpful and the Spa was very nice . my only criticism is that the rooms don’t have a lot of room to move around and drawers . We went for 7 nights and had to pretty much live out of the suitcases but other than that this hotel was super .

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was exceptional, very helpful and accomodating. Property was clean and very conveniently located to many of Porto's sights. We had breakfast included and basically had the choice of nearly every breakfast food. 10 out of 10 recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Without a doubt a 5 star luxury hotel. Staff trained to take excellent care of you and any requests you may have. Very welcoming environment and rooftop bar was exceptional - lovely views across the city, great food and wine menu and very family friendly. Breakfast was superb. Excellent buffet with champagne included as well as a la carte. Chefs cater to dietary requirements and even offered to make special breakfasts for our baby. A truly wonderful stay and we will be back!
Beautiful rooftop with an excellent snack menu and wine list. Family friendly too. Enjoyed several visits there for drinks and snacks with our little one.

Th layout of our room Premium twin was very challenging. Shower Room completely transparent, opposite the only window, for 2 women sharing a room, it is VERY difficult. The long sofa faces the shower with no small coffee table to hold drinks. We travel a lot, this is one of the most difficult room to handle. BUT the staffs are wonderful: especially the dinning room Teresa and Christiane; attentive, polite and effective..thank you

Love this hotel

Wine & Books Porto is a gem. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to enjoy all that Porto has to offer. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities that made our stay memorable. The staff at the front desk were outstanding—warm, attentive, and eager to help us plan and organize activities, which really enhanced our experience. The only area for improvement would be the gym, which could use an upgrade, but this was a small detail compared to everything else the hotel gets right. Overall, an amazing stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend Wine & Books Porto to anyone visiting the city.

This hotel was a 10 out of 10! The staff was incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. Loved the area the hotel was in a great location - was able to walk everywhere.
