It was our first experience in a concept hotel, and it was definitely a positive one. There are no rooms as such, but rather ‘boxes’ with no windows or natural light, so if you intend to spend most of your time in Porto in your hotel room, this isn’t the property for you. The idea is to make use of the shared spaces… and it was great! I must admit we didn’t eat at the restaurant or use the bar, but there is an amazing terrace with two small pools, a sauna, and a couple of places to chill. It’s an extremely interesting place. An honourable mention to the staff members who did a great job. Thanks

Bed bug thrive here

Bed bugs thrive at this hotel. My belonging all got infected with bed bugs due to bed bugs thriving in wooden environment. It was one of the worst expiences in my life. When I told the receptionist they didn't seem to care and made no effort to make amends. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Great affordable fun charming

Love this hotel - no window in room and feels communal but that’s its charm. It’s a super charming place! Cool bar and restaurant and so central to shopping district. Close to everything. The upstairs pool and sauna are great and the movie room is neat! Hotel staff was super nice and helpful when I got sick!

We really enjoyed our stay! Super friendly front desk, great location, and a “pool” on the top floor was an added bonus. Our box was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I could complain about is that the walls are thin, especially in the bathrooms.

We LOVED staying here. The staff was so friendly, the rooms were clean and well kept, and there was a lot to do on the property. My only advice is to set an alarm if you have somewhere to be in the morning because the rooms are so dark. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Room was well lit considering the box with no windows, it never felt cramped or like I was in a cave. Would definitely stay again especially considering the price paid. The bar area was also really comfy with a good choice of cocktails

great location when you find it

Basic accommodations, 80€/night for 4 nights. Great location, though a little hard to find tucked in the corner. Cool design, good vibe, great staff. The box lodge can afford a higher standard ti the cleaning procedure, the money that was saved when avoiding costs in televisions and furniture. This will need to be addressed soon or the build up will require complete replacement of materials. The affordable wood will rot in the Porto humidity/

I wasn’t here for very long due to being in transit. But, i will DEFINITELY stay here when I come back to Porto for a longer stay! I had a wonderful warm welcome when checking in, which was followed up by supreme service from the team in the restaurant and bar. The food and drinks there are delicious.
