Dalzie Apartment, Peinmore House

Dalzie apartment is in the wing of a former manse built in 1809. It was upgraded with the idea of making any guest feel exceptionally comfortable.
There are all the modern accessories you might expect to be self contained. Fully integrated kitchen which is open plan to the living room with comfortable room for dining.
There is even a piano along one of the walls!
There is plenty of parking and you are in a great location to be able to explore all the Island has to offer.
The bathroom is considerable in size, with separate shower and bath, room enough to relax.
We regularly get feedback that people sleep in the bed as well or if not better than their own beds!
The manse it's self has a walled garden with a little "burn" (stream) in it and there is a feeling of tranquility about.
Come and sample it, we would love you to have a delightful visit to Skye and Dalzie will certainly help with that.

Bel emplacement, calme et sĂ©curitaire. TrĂšs propre et grand. Instructions fournies sur tout au moyen d’une tablette Ă©lectronique (laveuse, lave-vaisselle, douche, etc.), ce qui est grandement apprĂ©ciĂ©. Lit confortable. Aucun contact avec le propriĂ©taire, les clĂ©s laissĂ©es sur la porte Ă  l’intĂ©rieur. Stationnement sur place, proche en voiture de Portree. Accueil chaleureux avec une bouteille de vin ! Y retournerait volontiers !

Wonderful place to stay as a base to visit Skye.

The property was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. Check in was easy and seamless. We did have an issue with the oven not working so it would have been useful to have some sort of manual for the property. Perhaps we just didn’t see it. Overall a great experience.

Great Apartment!

The apartment was perfect! Loved the quiet location. The only problem we had was communication with the manager. Which was none. We stayed there the end of May and I had been trying to reach someone since February! I was trying to cancel one night, but couldn't get anyone to respond to me. I emailed, as did VRBO. We also made phone calls through VRBO, but received no response. I did receive one message from the manager right before our stay saying she didn't see that we had a reservation! I wasn't sure I would have a place to stay once we arrived, but it was available. I spoke with the ex manager who was staying onsight and FINALLY through his help was able to get back my money on that one night we cancelled. Management needs to step it up on communication!

Wonderful Stay

This adorable property is a perfect location for hikes all over Isle of Skye, and close enough to grab dinner in Portree in the evenings (I suggest getting a reservation in advance!) It was spacious, roomy and the best 2 nights of rest we got on our 7 day trip! The wine and laundry pods were a wonderful touch! We had an issue with the oven, which was quickly resolved by the kind property manager. It was late but she was very helpful and responsive to our issue. I wish we had stayed here longer, as it was my favorite location and favorite place we stayed during our trip. We would return here in a heartbeat!

Cute spot outside Portree

Quaint and cozy unit outside of Portree. Well appointed. Lovely bottle of wine and roses were left for us. Short drive into town with shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, roomy and comfortable!

We loved our stay at Peinore House. Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Close to center of Portree but nice to have quiet location. Ben kept us informed and was there if we needed anything. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Very enjoyable stay in a very quiet and peaceful area. The apartment is spacious.The owner is really friendly and accommodating. It’s a shame that the advert showed the apartment had 2 bedrooms instead of 1 but I understand this has now been updated on the webpage.
