L'hotel est bien situe belle vue mais la vue de la chambre etait celle du building voisin situe a 3 metres avec les poubelles. Bruyant, minimum dans la chambre aucun pamphlet touristique de la ville.
Loved property, great breakfast. Comfy bed. Room a bit on the small side. Would stay here again, but would ask for the 2nd floor, as 44+ stairs are hard work!
Nice experience, welcoming. 3 nights I stayed. Overall good. First day I wokeup late, reached breakfast around after 9:30. So I didn't get breakfast on menu. I made with available corn flakes and museli. But it's my mistake not on time. Overall good vibes. Stunning sea view infront of house. Loved it.
I stayed here for 2 nights when I was in the area to do a 10k run along the causeway coast. I was very kindly allowed to check in later than the usual cutoff on my arrival day.
The owner was really friendly and I enjoyed chatting to her. Breakfast was delicious and I was able to do it justice on the second morning when I wasnât running.
There is on-street parking outside and a huge free car park a stones throw away. Itâs walking distance to restaurants, pubs and the all-important beach.
It was my first visit to the area and I loved it and really enjoyed my stay at Prospect House.
This place needs an overhaul, decor was dated, hall stairs and landing fousty and uninspiring. Sea veiw window in my room was poor as the double glazed glass unit had blown making visibility not good. When windy the Lino floor in the bathroom was lifting up and making an awful noise, which kept me awake one night. No atmosphere of any description throughout the hotel. Some of the buildings outside and on the same road were derelict it gave the whole area including Prospect hotel a poor kerb appeal. The breakfast was good and all what you would expect.
Would not Iâm afraid visit this property again.
Lovely overnight stay with my teenagers for a treat before school started. Check in was easy and the lady was very friendly. Our room had a King size bed, bunk beds and an ensuite shower room so plenty of room for a family.
We had a seaview room (Room 10) and the views were lovely to waken up to. The room has a TV, kettle with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and towels provided.
There is parking outside the hotel but I'd imagine it's limited during busy times.
Breakfast was great - choice of cereals/juices and then you can have a cooked breakfast of your choice.
We had a really nice stay :)
I had a brilliant stay and have planned two more âșïž my only downfall was I booked a room with a shared toilet, as a last minute booking no other rooms available. The Host was extremely friendly and welcoming and breakfast was beautifully cooked. There was also a nice selection for a continental breakfast also. The view is stunning!
Great seaview from our bedroom windows, not too far a walk to the white rocks beach and only up the hill from the coastal zone museum which my kids lov d exploring.
Hotel was nice but for anyone who's got poor mobility it's not ideal as there are no lifts and my elderly mum found the 3 sets of stairs challenging to use to get to our room. Tough going too if carrying heavy luggage. Was disappointed that on our 2nd and final morning we had gotten a little late downstairs what with all our items and kids and we missed breakfast by 30mins, cereal, toast, fruit or tea was offered but that wasn't what I'd paid for and also the fact that it was a quiet BnB not busy you would think a cooked breakfast wouldn't be a difficult task. We had a hard time getting a local taxi service too and after 6 numbers tried we finally got one to take us to the train station.Ideal BnB for spritely young couples or individuals eho don't mind alot of stairs and can enjoy the lovely scenic walks near by.
