Very conveniently located for shopping, restaurants, the Historic Dockyard and transport services to the Isle of Wight. Parking was easily accessible and convenient in the very close by multi storey. We did need to move room during the stay due to a water leak from the room next door. We were out for the day when this happened but the staff moved everything and kept us fully informed along the way. Really excellent service!

From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative. Our hotel room was easy to find—clean, tidy, and simply a pleasure to stay in. Breakfast was great: self-service with plenty of food and a wide variety of choices. Overall, our visit was excellent. We arrived with a smile and left smiling too.

Staff were very helpful. Parking explained to me by the staff. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was functional but not very strong. Breakfast session was busy but plenty of seats and food for all.

On arriving to the hotel in the evening, it took the receptionist took 30mins to find my booking which was frustrating, despite showing them my booking confirmations and receipts . After finally getting my key I was then told there was no hot water at the hotel. There was mention of moving to another hotel but after a 14hr day working I didn’t want to travel more, and had no transport to get me there. I was assured it would be fixed ASAP but woke up in the morning to the water still being cold. An awful start to my stay.

The staff is lovely but the room . Shower room and worst of all the restaurant were in an unacceptable level of grubby!!! Dusty everywhere and glass ware dirty and toasters dirty and the trolley was impossible dirty of months of being clean or even wiped. On top the hotel is very tired un painted walls, ripped carpets…
