Our stay at The Golden Well in Prague was truly delightful from beginning to end. The reception was warm and professional. Victoria welcomed us with genuine friendliness, gave us a thoughtful tour of the hotel, and provided clear and helpful information about the surroundings. It immediately made us feel comfortable and well cared for. The room was elegant and very comfortable, with a genuine classic style that perfectly fits the historic character of the building. Everything felt calm, tasteful, and well maintained. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay. The view is beautiful, the breakfast menu is well prepared, and the buffet is generous and carefully arranged. The service was outstanding. Olga and Andrea were both warm, attentive, and caring, turning breakfast into a truly pleasant daily experience. The hotel’s location is superb, quiet yet perfectly situated for exploring Prague. Check-out was simple, smooth, and efficient. We truly enjoyed staying in this well-preserved historic building. It allowed us to feel and breathe the gracefulness of Prague in a very special way. Lovely hotel in a hidden location below the castle. Very quiet at night yet also very close walking to all the attractions and some great restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel is overlooking the city - really nice. Staff were all so very helpful and kind.

While the property itself is located in a quiet, safe area and the staff is nice, the pictures and details Iisted on here are misleading. The main picture shown for this property is not at the property at all. This property does not have an outdoor garden area. The "garden" pictures are those of the Royal Palace Gardens that are a couple minutes away from the Golden Well, and for which you have to pay an entry fee. Secondly, the advertised included breakfast is not exactly free. The breakfast is very good and there are staff that wait on you. So, upon leaving breakfast, each guest is made to sign a form and put down a tip amount. It feels obligatory to leave a nice tip- which is fine, but should not be advertised as inclusive (especially when other hotels in the area do not push paperwork at you after breakfast). Also, the pictures of the rooftop terrace are misleading, as they did not allow access to it.

We loved how beautiful and quiet the hotel was. The staff was superb, the breakfast was amazing, and the personal touches, such as a goodnight sweet treat on the night table every night, made our stay at the Golden Well just perfect!
