old building with tall ceilings and old world charm. basic room but quite comfortable and clean. decent breakfast with some hot stuff. only 15 rooms so not busy at all.

Nice place, lots of charm

Very charming old building with updated rooms. Good access to public transportation. Parking can be a bit challenging.

Great hotel

It is a very good hotel in a very good location. It is about 20-30 minutes walk to most touris spots. The hotel is clean and staff very helpful. The complimentary breakfast is very good with healthy choices.

A gem of a stay

This hotel is in a very good location just doesn't from karlovo namisti. There is a tram on this street and it's an easy walk to the river. The breakfast is great and the staff was excellent and they spoke excellent English.

Old World Charm

I had a single room, extremely spacious, comfortable bed and excellent bathroom - seemed brand new. I walked each day to the old town section which took 15 - 20 minutes depending on where I was going as a base and a bit longer to get to other parts but easily achieved. Otherwise the trams are quick and easy to pick up. I would definitely return.

Conveniently located hotel with great breakfast

Stayed here for two nights, slept and ate well. Easy walk from the main Prague train station. My bed was on the firm side, which I liked but some guests may not. Room #2 and maybe one other is on the street side on the first floor, so there is noise from a tram that passes by frequently, especially with the windows open. You might want a different room if you're a light sleeper. Staff was pleasant.

Spiritual no Aircon

This hotel is located next to the St. Jan church, across from Emauz monastery. We had a real spiritual vacation. All was great, location, breakfast, service. The rooms do not have an AC which may be a bummer in hot summer. Rooms facing the street are not recommended.

Great location and interiors but a bit overpriced

It was average stay but a bit disappointed based on the price that it charged for the same. There were no elevators and my room being on first floor, I had to carry two of my heavy bags manually. The interior of the hotel had a very distinct classic feel which was great. The location was very close to the centre and just a few minutes walk from the metro and tram station. They also served breakfast which was less than overwhelming. The staff were very helpful and always smiling which is nice to experience in a country that you do not speak the language.

Good hotel, great staff

Great two night stay highlighted by the fantastic ladies at the front desk. I repeatedly asked them to go above and beyond in regards to helping me with late checkout amongst other things. They always came through and were extremely helpful in all instances. Give them both a raise.

Decent standard all over, and great breakfast. The roof was very high in our room, which was nice. The only downside was the traffic outside, but that's to be expected from hotels with this location.

Your mileage may vary

It's a small hotel with freshly renovated rooms. Whether you enjoy your stay there depends a lot on what room you get, as some are facing the street, with trams, cars and people passing by. There's no air conditioning, but keeping a window of a ground level room open does not feel safe (nor it's comfortable due to the noise). We ended up moving to a room that faces the garden, and we found it quite comfortable.

Absolutely lovely building and refurbished to a very high standing. Double vaulted ceilings in the bedrooms! The only thing that needs improving is the additions of fans or air conditioning. The room was extremely hot even with no heating on and with all the windows open at night. But a simple thing for the management to fix going forward.

Good location, nice building, the service tries hard, but has to improvise a lot. Electricity was cut off several times, not enough towels or sheets available, rooms not fully ready at evening arrival. Staff is friendly, but shows a lack of professional routine: breakfast is served, but nobody cares about the dishes left on the breakfast tables. All in all, if you book, stay relaxed and do not expect too much.
