Luxurious 4 bedroom home 3 full baths is a Vintage dream home in a quiet community. The home is 4200 square ft. ,has wooden arched ceiling, double crown molding, commerical grade appliances in the kitchen, old spanish tile and marble with a flair of elegance in all bathrooms . The 2 story home is over 100 years old with cypress hardwood floors and wooden arch ceilings. There is a beautiful chandelier and marbel fireplace located in the lovely foyer. The home sits on 3 acres of land that is adjacent to a water park , resturants and lots of shopping malls. The garage has a large media room, with full bath, and Large bar area. There is also a small cottage with all the ammenties.It is the perfect setting for relaxing and entertaining.

Beyond perfect!

We held our microwedding here and it was absolutely perfect. The pictures do not do the house justice! It was clean, beyond well stocked, and the hosts were a joy to work with. The house itself is beautiful, and the media room was perfect for the Bachelorette party. I cannot recommend this location enough! Oh, and the location is perfectly situated! Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home. It truly was petfect!

We rented this VRBO for our family and son’s groomsmen for his wedding at CCLA a few miles away. The house, cottage and theatre room were perfect - the house is gorgeous and the owner Josh and caretaker Melvin were amazing Highly recommend! amazing

Perfect Wedding Weekend!

This beautiful home was home base for our daughter's bridal party for the wedding weekend. It was the perfect backdrop for pictures as they dressed for the wedding, and there was plenty of room for everyone to get dressed. Everyone commented on how much they loved it! We highly recommend this home for groups, or even just a weekend away.

Small Family celebration

My family got together to celebrate my aunt's 55th birthday. A total of 9 adults and one 8 month old stayed on the property. We took advantage of the media room on Saturday to watch College football. The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the charcoal grill to cook dinner on Saturday night. We were also pleased to see the baby bed and high chair since we had an infant with us. Melvin made the check-in process very simple and made sure we were familiar with everything on the property before he left. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Exactly what we needed

We were vacationing in Baton Rouge to visit family and wanted to find something that was close enough to Baton Rouge and New Orleans but not downtown this was perfect. The pictures were exactly as advertised. It was very hot during our stay (10+ days with heat index over 110) - and the AC's worked brilliantly! On our first day we had a couple of questions - both John (owner) and Melvin (caretaker) responded to my text within 10 min and were super helpful. John checked in on us during the stay to make sure things were going well. Very responsive and is an owner who clearly prioritizes their guests. I would definitely consider staying here again

Family Reunion Trip

Wedding Party

I and my family and the wedding party stayed at this wonderful house for 4 nights. The kitchen was wonderful for group meals with lots of refrigerator and cupboard space, and the stove and huge oven where great. We had the Rehersal dinner for m y daughters wedding out on the covered patio which worked out well. The entire house was well appointed with everything we needed and the beds and linens where very comfortable. The Movie room was so much fun for everyone and the hot tub was much appreciated after several long days. The location is also great. A short hour drive to downtown new orleans and 15 minutes to Baton Rouge mad it easy for us to pick up family from the airport and the wedding venue at The Houmas House was only 25 minutes away. It all worked out well and I love the vintage architecture and grounds. Thank you So much for a wonderful time!!

Amazing Time

I can not express how satisfied we were with our experience. Our host made sure to check in and made sure we had anything we needed for our event . We were given a tour upon arrival. The house was bigger than expected, very clean, and very spacious. Would definitely book here again and would also recommend to anyone !
