Nice isolated retreat

Walking distance to thumb butte trail was awesome. Easy drive into town. Isolated quiet cabin on back of property had everything described and communication with Scott was great. Owner welcomed us in person even with a late check in and would recommend staying here

Cozy cabin in great location with easy access to trails!

We had a great stay during January. Scott was super accommodating and kept in communication with us -- and had great restaurant recommendations. Everything worked really well for us! There are some steeper stairs so something to consider if you have physical limitations.

Christmas Get-a-way

The scenic views, wildlife, and short walk to trails is exactly what Santa ordered for us. We could not have asked for a better experience for Christmas! Scott was attentive to all our needs and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you!

Fantastic Views, Great Location

This was a perfect little place for me while in Prescott for a week. Quiet, private, and peaceful. Literally steps away from the Thumb Butte trails. Owners are very nice and helpful.

Breathtaking Views

The Thumb Butte cabin had a serene, tranquil vibe, each morning, we were greeted with breathtaking views, and the sunsets were simply stunning! Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and kind. The cabin was beautifully decorated with rustic charm, and it was impeccably clean. We loved the comfortable furnishings. We will be back!

Wonderful chalet

This little house was great and conveniently located close to the trails at Thumb Butte. Very quiet and the views are spectacular. Birds are plentiful as well and they accommodated all our needs. Even Rusty the dog was very friendly.

Thumb Butte stay

Very nice stay. Great views and great location (easy to get to historic downtown, but far enough away for comfort and quiet). Clearly an experienced host. Home was well stocked and lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Two things to note: The bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs and there is not a washer/dryer for clothes.

Fantastic Get Away

If you want to hike Thumb Butte, this is the place to stay! It is within walking distance to the trailhead and a short drive to Watson Lake Trail. Very quiet, private and cute cabin tucked up near the butte. Scott was extremely helpful and friendly to myself and daughter. I highly recommend this place to all visiting Prescott hikers. Great experience for our first vrbo too!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

Love the location and property - just perfect for us and it was an added bonus for us to be able to bring our 3 pups! Excellent home and very well appointed! Had a great time, but the winds we had while there made hanging out on the nice deck challenging. Would definitely consider staying there again!

Great Location with Amazing views!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The views from the deck overlooking the valley were amazing. Everything you needed was there and they even have the Comfy sheets (if you know you know). They are so soft and comfortable. The inside could use a little updating, but we would definitely come back again. A short 5 minute drive to town. Lots of hiking nearby. A+++

Such a peaceful stay

Scott's place is AMAZING. I loved sitting having coffee by waking up to the Butte! After the location, the place itself is nicely stocked with dishes and towels and the basic essentials for cooking. I cooked an entire meal with desert for 5 and had enough dishes for all. The Grill was great kept the heat out of the house. Sitting outside at night we could watch the stars and enjoy the view of Prescott below. Scott is great at communicating and was a great host. I would definitely at stay Scott's again.

Amazing location!!

This place is amazing! Cozy, yet roomy. Views all around. Literally next to thumbutte trails. Stars are amazing at night and if you open the windows you can hear the stream at night. Comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, loved the shower pressure! Wonderful hosts and pride in ownership. Thanks, Scott and Melody!

Better than any hotel or spa!

This is such a perfect location at the base of Thumb Butte. The peaceful sounds of nature and the awe inspiring butte are right outside the cabin. I quickly decided that my priority was to hang outside on the deck to commune with nature while my wife read book after book. When you get hungry, downtown Prescott is a beautiful 3 minute drive downhill. Can't wait to go back!

COZY FOR 3-4

This is a very cozy little A frame cabin. We were treated to an early snow New Year's Weekend 2023. The heater kept the cabin warm and snug. Dish TV is run on the TV but we brought an XBOX and used online streaming when the snow caused the satellite to fail. The kitchen is good for 1 cook and furnished with cooking utinsels, silverware, and dishes. It is a great getaway just outide town enough to relax.
