This newly renovated 4 plex apartment building awaits your trip to The County! Located on the Main floor the Picton Suite is steps to all that Wellington has to offer. The Picton Suite is a self-contained, one-bedroom unit with a King bed, full kitchen, living room and updated bathroom.

County Cove is a perfect getaway for couples looking to experience the culinary delights available in the County, along with wineries, art studios and beautiful beaches. Once you return stay in with Roku Internet Television and an evening of Netflix. The location is ideal among Wellington's most popular shops and restaurants including: Piccolina Italian Mercato, Ideal bike rental, and Sybill Frank art gallery, as well as The Drake Devonshire, Midtown Brewery, La Condesa and East & Main. Numerous wineries, breweries, cider houses and beaches are just minutes away.

County Cove has 3 other units available for rent if your group size is over 2 please inquire about renting the other units.

This home is fully licensed as per Prince Edward County STA bylaws. #ST-2021-0094
The bylaw stipulates the maximum capacity of the property is 2 people.

Prince Edward County is a very special place. You may find yourself here one weekend, falling in love and moving permanently, a large number of people have. Affectionately known as "The County" the area is comprised of small villages and hamlets scattered amongst farm fields and quaint shops. Located in Lake Ontario you will fall in love with the people, the food, nature, and art. The area hosts 3 provincial parks and over 800km of shoreline.

Getting Around:
Visiting Prince Edward County does require your own vehicle. There is no public transit or Uber in The County, although we do have a number of taxi companies and car or hire services.

Points forts : Propreté, commodités et état et installations de l’hébergement.
Nous avons dû contacter la manager puisqu’une chauve-souris s’est introduite dans l’air climatiseur durant notre deuxième nuit. Elle a extrêmement été professionnelle et agréable. Mis à part notre intrus ailé, la suite est super. Une cuisine fonctionnelle, à 20 minutes de voiture des plages (Sandbanks et compagnie), un secteur très calme avec plusieurs évènements (chanteur au parc, kiosques locaux dans le stationnement de l’église…) Je ne retourne jamais deux fois au même hébergement, mais je crois faire une exception pour cet endroit tout à fait remarquable et le personnel qui en prend soin qui l’est tout autant. *mini pépin : la personne responsable du ménage a vraiment tourné les coins ronds (insectes morts dans le garde-robe, sable, sac de poubelle placé tout croche—ce qui nous a causé un beau dégât lorsqu’est venu le temps de le sortir) Sinon, vraiment, superbe équipe et hébergement! Je recommande.

Parfait pour des vacances à 2
Appartement nouvellement rénové. Matelas très confortable. À distance de marche des restaurants, épicerie, location de bicyclettes électriques ou ordinaires. À un coin de rue du lac Ontario mais sans accès pour la baignade. Près de la Millenium Trail et des vignobles. Le propriétaire fournit une passe pour accéder aux plages de Sandbanks et North Beach. Ce qui fut très apprécié. On a eu une difficulté de connexion au Wi-Fi à l'arrivée, mais cela s'est rapidement résolu après avoir communiqué avec le gérant. Petit côté négatif: Si vous êtes grands, la hauteur du plafond de la douche pourrait vous être problématique. En somme, un bel endroit où séjourner et se détendre. Bonne communication avec le propriétaire.

Picton Suite
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Picton suite at the beginning of October. Firstly, the check-in instructions in the email had directed us to the suite at the top of the stairs, but our suite was actually on the main floor. On our first nights stay, there were noticeable cobwebs in the bedroom/kitchen, and there was hair on the shower walls from whoever had previously stayed. It was quite apparent that the suite had not been cleaned properly prior to our arrival (maybe why there was no cleaning fee when we booked it). There were also other small things we noticed - kitchen wasn't stocked well (only one wine glass, salt/pepper shakers were dirty), one curtain in the living room window but two curtains on the rest, the bathtub was creaky with not much headspace, no sprinklers/fire extinguisher. We texted the contact provided and heard nothing back for hours so we called the property management company and were informed that the person currently away. I explained my concerns about the cleanliness of the suite and they tried to tell me that the cobwebs could happen in a span of hours (that seems pretty unlikely to me, even considering it's in the country) but offered to clean up the cobwebs and the shower. They provided all the items I requested for the kitchen and cleaned up the cobwebs and the hair in the shower but it didn't look like they did a full clean. It looks nice at first glance but unfortunately we would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Great location to Millenium Trail and wineries
We stayed 4 nights at the County Cove - Picton. We loved how the renovations blended the old with the new. The location is ideal for access to the Millenium Trail, within walking distance of several restaurants and a minute's drive to the local Wellington Rotary Beach. The bedroom is huge! Despite being on the main street it was very quiet. A few improvements would give this property a 5* review: Towel racks in the bathroom or hallway, better lighting in the bathroom, a cutting board in the kitchen (which otherwise was great), a recycling bin and a bike rack in the parking area.
